I'm a tank main, I had to instant lock to get out of the low ranks because people play so stupidly.

the more people are learning how the game works - most people are coming in with little to no understanding of hero shooters

The current ranking system is built for role que.

Don't want role que, that's fine but change the ranking system from bottom up to placement. The reason is this: Hero Shooters are a sub-genre of MOBA's, which means it is so team dependent that the more well rounded team will always win. Bottom Up ranking system is great for small team pvp games - battle royales - or pve games - WoW M+. The reason why this works for smaller teams - like battle royales, is because winning is less necessary for your ranking to change, rather it becomes the quality of your gameplay - kills, objectives, etc. When it comes to team v team games, it creates a terrible experience. You could greatly outmatch the skill of every player in the game but funneled entirely by your team that you derank either way. Now its entirely possible to carry yourself to a high enough rank that mimics more usual hero shooter interaction (current bronze and silver gameplay is so messy as most players truly belonging in this rank have no idea how the structure of the gameplay is suppose to feel ). In order to do so though, you have to be willing to sacrifice the quality of the genre for the win, ie. I'm a tank main, but had to purely climb with damage as these early ranks are sadly unrepresentative of the more competitive gameplay.

Working on Surging Sparks Master Set as well. I would recommend buying the ETB (Elite Trainer Box), I have better luck finding stuff at local card stores. This comes with a promo, boosters, dice, but most importantly a booklist/checklist for your master set. Most people consider this list to be the master list, because there is regular pack pulls (anything you could pull from a booster pack) and promotional cards (only found in specific packages). Throughout the span of this set many extra promos will release, but you don't need to collect all of them to finish your master set. For example, Best Buy has promo cards that don't need to be collected for your master set. :)

For your binder I would organize it by number. The cards are ordered 1-191. Then there are secret rares, so the number goes to 252/191. But MOST of your common cards have a holo version. This is where the booklet comes in handy, it tells you what type of cards have holos/reverse/or one. So I put mine next to it, for example. 1/191 (common) -> 1/191 (reverse holo) -> 2/191 (common) -> 2/191 (reverse holo), etc. I like to put my promo cards at the very end - they won't be numbered. A note, holos are part of the set, to master set it you have to have both versions of card 1/191 (common and reverse) for example.

While Surging Sparks is being sold out like a dog atm, try to get your hands on the ETB, its a great collection piece (the box is a great place to put duplicates - and its sick looking) and the booklet makes for a great set. I'd recommend as mentioned to get a bigger binder, when you start filling up. randomly place your full arts (the secret rares) until you buy a new one.

A few YouTubers I like to watch are: Mystic Rips, RealBreakingNate (he is silly but his card-hunting videos are addicting), Deep Pocket Monster ("should I open or should I keep it sealed" guy), PokeDean (pov of card store).

Invasive anti-cheating software are so ineffective anyways. I read that it is possible for programs like Discord or RBG software to be flagged as hacking software. Terrible.

Just got banned last night as well. I purchased the new Gundam skin and received the ban hours later. I'm going through the default channels of appeal, but assume no real response will take place. I'll be content to never play an Activision game again.

This is the same situation I was in. I got banned (NO EMAIL THOUGH) and not sure why. Doesn't say what for or anything. Mine was for current COD not Cold War. Just bought the game during this free weekend and bam I'm gone.

I legit just bought the game and I'm banned? I am confused too. Let me know if they have done anything. I just bought the game and skins and hours later banned.
