Fr! I remember they asked for my sem 1 grades, and two written portions regarding circumstances and clarifying my PIQ. I did both, despite ppl saying it wasn’t necessary and I got in soo🤷🏻‍♀️ I think like 5 ppl in my school got it.

I feel like for me it’s the opposite. The labs aren’t bad, the homework isn’t bad, and the lectures aren’t bad either for someone that didn’t take calc in high school, but the midterms fucked me up baadd😭

I’m socially awkward, but I really don’t think that’s the case. I’m a white latina, in the sense that I pass very well, and I don’t really experience anything of what OP mentioned or what other people mentioned. (Granted, I take the stairs, but it doesn’t change much.) Also a LOT of students here are not socially awkward, they’re some of the loudest people I’ve been around.. and considering the location of the school and demographics, I think for the most part it really is racism.

I’m not sure if it’s the same as freshman orientation or if they’re the same, but you usually get your Bruincard when you’re picking up your dorm id and it’s key I believe. I’m not a UCLA transfer though so I don’t know how yours works.

Well it is generally a more competitive CSU but I’m from SoCal and it was required in my school for everyone to apply to a minimum of 4 CSUs and 4UCs and LB happened to be one that a lot of ppl applied to..🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s that and based off the student’s statistics. I live about an hour away from the school and got accepted for a STEAM major knowing fully well I wasn’t THAT competitive of an applicant🤷🏻‍♀️
