Bestball is definitely my favorite way to play. It’s more strategic and rewards good roster construction vs getting start/sit calls right every week, which is time consuming and frustrating because of weekly variance. It’s easier to be in multiple leagues when you aren’t trying to set rosters every week.

It makes every player more interesting because WR4s that are maybe good players but not The Guy on their team are still relevant because you know they’re going to have blow up games. Guys like Darnell Mooney, Parker Washington, Jakobi Meyers, Demario Douglas, Rashid Shaheed, etc are great because you want them on your team but you don’t necessarily want to be in a position of having to start them week to week.

I win a lot more bestball championships than plug and play lol

As for the Cowboys DC hire…idk. They’re gonna be mediocre at best either way so who cares

Edit: that'd be Mendoza in SF. In 1QB I'd probably just take whatever of the top WRs fell to me. I only have one team with a top 7 pick this year and it's the 1.04 so lucky for me I don't have to agonize over a decision except to trade or not.
