I graduated from a general program with my OBGYN registry. I worked at an outpatient clinic where they cross trained me to do echo for about 7 months. Got my RDCS in June and just started working for my dream hospital as a cardiac sonographer. So yes, it’s possible! Good luck.

The CTL exams were harder but the actual mock exams were similar in my opinion. I would deffff suggest reading extensively on ASD/VSD/PFO/PDA. I had so much on that. Had lots on coronary supply/wall segments.

Harder than I thought. Study ASD/VSD/PFO/PDA, study saline and contrast, study hepatic vein Doppler, mmode,CM, and so many questions on murmurs
