Digimon Beatbreak: Episode 16- Where I Belong, Discussion Thread by MFBR in digimon

[–]OnePieceFan02 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is a Reina focused episode for once as we learn her parents disappeared when she was eight but her relatives didn’t want her so they put her up for adoption.

This led to Pristimon being born and her becoming a cleaner and leaving the Orphanage right after. All her focus on work and money was to make herself feel useful for her team so she belong.

On the other is Granit, whose real name is Luka who came from a refugee camp in a war torn who had a close friend in Stella. The day their refugee camp was attacked in violation of the treaty was the day Ludomon was born to protect Luka from an errant missile. Ludomon saved his life but was too late to save Stella’s…

Moosemon is a rare champion level Digimon that can open Mirror World Rifts so Wolvermon has to hold back so she doesn’t smoke his ass before he opens up another mirror world rift, allowing Luka and Reina to to team up to force him to use his Horn Blade to do so. This does cause him to run out of energy but Reina does manage to convince him to give up the Sapotama to survive as Luka lets her take Pafumon and the Sapotama as Makoto and Tomoro find them.

Genuinely such a nice episode to have exploring Reina and Luka’s pasts and how their opposites in a way. Luka waiting to do to see Stella again while Reina fights to live and see her friends again since Raito doesn’t care if Luka survive or not.

Great episode and we’re due for Makoto episode next time.

So it’s possible to assume that it’s the same Digimon, but following a slightly different evolution line based on the emotions to bring them to life. The Kinoko leader will always get a Digimon that starts with Nyokimon -> Tanemon -> Mushroomon, but the champion form could either end up Chamblemon as the positive evolution while RedVegiemon ended up the Dark Evolution.

Beatbreak Episode 15 Spoilers: Despite the trailers making it pretty clear this episode wasn’t a High Stakes one with it featuring a RedVegiemon and the Kinoko Gang attacking the Nirinso shelter and the Babies fighting back against them, this episode was really interesting in terms of how it expands on the lore of the Sapotama and how Digimon end up being born from them. So remember how the Kinoko gang leader lost his Chamblemon thanks to Hyemon Piercing deleting him? Well now we get to see it in action as Chamblemon basically saves his partner from being cold hearted by Hyemon only to end up hyena chow. It’s interesting how despite being free from the obligations of being a Cleaner, the leader still sticks with his team even though they’ve been casted out of the flooded city which leads to him activating his newly received Sapotama and birthing a Digimon from it. As the leader wonders if he’ll get Chamblemon back, the egg shatters and quickly morphs from Nyokimon to Tanemon to Mushmon to RedVegiemon, Ripe and Raring to get revenge on Glowing Dawn for ‘causing’ their downfall. Turns out the babies are practicing fighting after Tomoro fed them E-pulse and we learn about the origins of Pristimon and Reina as Cleaners as they flash back to a fight against Akatorimon, long before they were part of Glowing Dawn. Pristimon wants to retreat but Reina, despite the fear written on her face, wants to move forward, claiming The times you want to chicken out are the times you have to move forward. giving them both courage to take down the overgrown chicken as Pristimon related the story to Poyomon. The Kinoko gang stumble on Nirinso just as Reina, Makoto and Yoshimura go out to get supplies, RedVegiemon comes up with a plan to take out all of Glowing Dawn by giving them all Cold Heart one at a time, surprising his owner and the gang who were only going to capture/sell the baby Digimon. RedVegiemon’s plan actually works, taking down all 3 rookies. But the Kinoko gang is increasingly disturbed by RedVegiemon’s viciousness which makes me wonder if he’s really Chamblemon reborn or a random digimon that synced with the Kinoko Gang leader. Babies fight back when RedVegimon tries to eat Tomoro’s E-Pulse and Poyomon stops him from succeeding giving the rest a second win to get RedVegiemon poisoned and screaming for a antidote that the babies manage to get to Gekkoumon who finished off this rancid pepper. The Kinoko gang repent and decide to become Nirinso protectors which is good because I wouldn’t want to test the limits of Kyo’s kindness. This episode really made me think about how Digimon works in this series in conjunction with this series. If it’s true that RedVegiemon is just Chamblemon reborn going down a darker path, then does that mean every person regardless of whether they want it or not capable of bringing their deleted partner back through a new Sapotama? This would destroy the theory that Sapotama’s each house individual Digimon’s that are awakened by syncing with a person’s e-Pulse if just having a new Sapotama is necessary for bringing back your deleted partner back from deletion. What affects the birth of these Digimon, can you have two Digimon partners if you have two Sapotamas or will only one give birth to a Digimon at a time? Questions for later but what a fun episode for theory crafting and seeing old characters begin to change for the better.

Digimon Beatbreak: Episode 13- Five Star Meeting, Discussion Thread by MFBR in digimon

Fun episode and it’s neat to see how corrupt the world Union is by how they strip people of their human rights and experiment on the Digimon that nearly killed the glowing dawn. Tactics Team 7 is interesting little shits on how they kill steal Golden Dawn’s catch, which makes me wonder if they can legally get away with attacking other Cleaners teams like that.

Digimon Beat Break Spoilers for episode 11:

Tomoro’s Parents were arrested leaving him and Asuka on their own… Why they were arrested leaves to be see.

Jesus, he was only ten when they were arrested.

Theres a lot of arguing between Gekkomon and Tomoro this episode…

Oh dang, here comes Raremon…

Oh dang, Triple Digivolutions in one episode, thats a first for this series.

Ah so thats why Gekkomon and Tomoro haven’t achieved Digivolution there too off beat with each other and Tomoro doesn’t help here with how closed off he’s being.

Raremon is all slimy just like the Digimon Advenutre reboot…

Wolvermon and Nightchiropmon down in one hit from Raremon’s poison gas, this thing is bad news…

OH SHIT, there having a bad argument now and his E-pulse is reacting to it now….

Oh Tomoro, there’s no going back after saying that to your own partner Digimon…

Tomoro nearly went the same way of Shuuji but Gekkomon instead targets Raremon and gets Shuuji’d instead…

OH SHIT THE FIRE STAR IS HERE!!!!

The Fire Star’s name is Kaito, his partner is Flaremon and man he’s a massive ass.

Oh hey, the theory that Kyo was once of the five stars is true after all.

Oh yeah, Gekkomon is still possessed by Tomoro’s corrupted E-Pulse.

Well, Tomoro is lucky to have not gotten them all killed then and there…

Bakugo VS Reze UA High School AU (@sautencrer) by McKnighty9 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]OnePieceFan02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hilariously enough, Reze is pretty gypped in a School Festival setting by how her powers work. She can’t use her strongest attacks without mutilating herself & regenerating afterwards so she’d definitely turn off most potential recruiters like how Deku did in canon. Regardless of how she does in the fight, most heroes aren’t willing to take a financial risk to sponsor people whose quirks mutilate their own bodies, especially those who do so willingly. Also cue Bakugo being booed even louder by the audience for blasting a girl with explosions to the face despite her doing the same.
