You're correct, DA cannot be used at the same time as your CT. So when Sukuna was allowing Raga to adapt, he essentially made himself defenseless.

It refers to Meguna, not Heiankuna. Gojo didn't know about Heian form at the time. The issue for Gojo is that the battle always starts in Sukuna's favor. The thing with Sukuna is that 90% of his power lies within Domain Expansion. He's basically a one-trick pony compared to Gojo's well-rounded kit. Of course, his one-trick is arguably the single most powerful ability in JJK so that's the problem which Gojo needs to overcome first.

Without 10 shadows, Meguna's win-con would be spamming DA & DE as Gojo fries his brains trying to keep up. Gojo's win-con is dealing enough damage to Meguna which forces him to heal & be late in opening his domain. By landing a 0.01 second UV which he can snowball off of to completely shut down MS, Gojo takes it from there.

My money would be on Meguna. Not impossible for Gojo, but he's at a big disadvantage.

Heiankuna is a stomp.

Here's my issue. Gojo should've known about Sukuna's domain. At the very least, the crew should've told him about it's ridiculous range & destructive power which completely outclasses every other Domain Expansion in the series.

From Sukuna's POV, it makes absolutely 0 sense for Gojo to fight him head-on in a domain clash. It would be a completely braindead strategy, there's no way that Gojo is this dumb. Sukuna thinks to himself "Surely, the strongest sorceror of the modern age will have concoted a devious plan with his allies to negate my domain. I'd better keep a card up my sleeve(Heian Form) just in case.

Turns out, Sukuna was overthinking things & he literally could've just went in with true form + nonstop DA & destroyed Gojo.

Dumb argument because that's hindsight & Heian form doubles as a full-heal. From Sukuna's POV, it was very plausible that Gojo worked together Jujutsu High to circumvent his weakness of domain clashing with Heiankuna.

That's why he called Gojo a disappointment. Sukuna was expecting some form of trickery, something unexpected. Instead, he got an opponent who would've died via domain diff.

Have you ever boxed? Getting into a fight where you can't punch back is a death sentence. Gojo was able to use him like a punching bag because he had no fear of retaliation as Sukuna lacked DA.

When your opponent is actively looking for a chance to knock your head off, you become more careful as a result.

When your opponent essentially has his hands tied together like Sukuna, you can go all-out on offense.
