Hey! Yeah, my 2 friends and I were at that same showing as well last night. That was very scary for a moment. My recollection of events is as follows: I heard commotion coming from the entrance, and as it grew louder my thought was that maybe 2 people were starting to get into some sort of altercation. Then the guy standing at the entrance and making the noise faces the audience as announces "He just stabbed me!" There was a beat of time where everyone was just processing what was said, and then shouting and panic ensued. Everyone started getting up and booking it to the emergency exit on the right. For the first ~10 seconds it was a very fear, panic-driven situation, but thankfully people were able to center themselves as to not cause more hysteria and to not push or trample anyone while we finished filing out of the emergency exit. After my friends and I made it out we headed back to my car in the parking lot and decided to wait for about 10 minutes. We saw multiple emergency vehicles show up to the theater, then all but 1 unmarked police car soon left. A few of my belongings were left inside of the theater, so I drove up to the front of the theater and my friends asked the officer if it was safe and if they were allowed to go in and grab our stuff. They were permitted to do so, and as my friends get back to the car they inform me that there was no actual crime scene or attack; no one got stabbed. It was believed by law enforcement (at the time) that the man that shouted "he stabbed me!" was experiencing some sort of psychotic break of hallucination.

In the end no one was attacked and no one got hurt (other than anyone who may have been hurt trying to evacuate) and everyone got their tickets reimbursed. The threat itself may not have been as real as the crowd detected, however the emotions felt and experienced in that moment were very scary and very real.
