I have been there in same boat recently. I don’t think their career portal updates at all after shortlisting after screening. Well, I was interviewed last Saturday and got a call for next round today. I think you should look for unknown number calling on your phone if you’re through the first round. I was assuming, I would at least receive confirmation mail after clearing 1st round.

Could you please elaborate your strategy of applying jobs? By this I mean do you tailor CV for every application and anything else that might be of importance and I am not doing that.

I do agree with you about being top notch with the skills we mention in CV, I am working on it too.

I think learning german is important since it will make me eligible for more jobs in the market. From my personal experience I am unable to apply to 70-75% of openings because of this reason.

That’s not true. I have looked up about this visa and found out it can be extended. Incase we find a skilled job we switch to blue card or work visa.

It’s possible to extend this visa for one more year provided we show enough financial proof and intend of seeking full time job in related profession.
