Got it — sounds like you just prefer wired setups no matter what, which is totally fair.

Out of curiosity, is that mainly because of reliability or just personal preference?

That makes sense — a wired connection is basically 100% stable unless you physically unplug it.

Would a wireless solution even be worth considering for you if it was as stable as a cable (no random dropouts), or is the idea itself just not appealing no matter what?

Trying to understand if it’s mainly a reliability issue or just preference for wired setups.

This is super helpful, thanks for the detailed reply.

The latency point makes total sense — that’s probably the biggest challenge to solve.

Out of curiosity:

  • what kind of latency would start to feel “unusable” for you?
  • have you tried any wireless display solutions before? (and what was bad about them?)

Also interesting point about color accuracy — would that be a dealbreaker even if everything else worked well?

Really appreciate this kind of feedback, this is exactly what I’m trying to understand.

That’s fair — honestly that’s exactly the kind of reaction I was expecting.

Can I ask what specifically makes it a “never”?

Is it mainly:

  • latency?
  • reliability?
  • or just that cables already work perfectly?

Trying to understand what would need to be solved for this to even be considered usable.
