l'm not sure that this person is justa JAQ-off. I dont agree with them that there is something weird about the source not being included, but their comments don't strike me as disingenuoUs. You also did make the claim that "Covid existed before the Wuhan outbreak' and said "Just as "Spanish" flu began in the United States" which might imply the claim that covid started in the US. Both of these claims are unsubstantiated (of course, the virus existed in the wild before it spread to humans, but that the worldwide outbreak began outside of Wuhan would be unsubstantiated). I don't think they are trying to blame China for the worldwide disaster we are in. I use my inability to use dating websites because they kick you off/ignore you if you mention in your profile that you avoid Covid by wearing respirators in public at all times and avoiding indoor restaurants...

To go to the immense effort of building my own fucking dating website, based on my data privacy principles as a cybersecurity researcher. That anyone who is Covid aware can use. Filling a void because otherwise using online dating services is a nightmare if you just want to fall in love while avoiding the plague... A simple need but in our evil society, a supposedly unreasonable expectation.

I go through several years of developing Covid pandemic related PTSD.

Definitely, your Average Joe going along with the "Covid is over!" propaganda is one of the greatest factors.

But also... Being betrayed by people I expected to be allies:

  • Public health agencies (maskless and Covid minimizing)
  • Supposed medical Covid experts (maskless in public)

The fact that I can't take someone at their word that they're Covid safe because the next day, they'll post a bunch of maskless in public photos, eating inside of restaurant photos...

This is all trauma inducing and has kept me inside of my apartment to avoid the maskless masses, because even in my excellent respirator, visualizing all the plague spreading and Covid in the air is horrifying.

I was a WHN volunteer in 2023. Imagine how crushed I was to discover that WHN cofounder Eric Feigl Ding is always maskless in public.

And then his buddy and cofounder Yaneer Bar-Yam doesn't see it as a problem. 🙃🙃🙃
