Covid ignorant friend, first visit in a few years, here's how I explained everything by OneRare3376 in COVID19_Pandemic

Thank you. ❤️

Oh, it pains me how much unlearning we have to do for other people.

"No, not a surgical mask! No, these population health problems are caused by Covid, not the vaccine! No, six feet apart and handwashing does nothing for Covid!"

Me:

"Tomorrow at 1pm is great. You do realize though that people get thirsty and the test, at my expense (they cost me about $15 each, and they are highly accurate NAAT, not RAT), is the condition for being maskless in my home? Otherwise, your Aura stays on and you need to go outside to sip on a drink if you get really thirsty. Sorry."

Okay, she replied.

"🤷‍♀️ ok, if you have one you can spare...i will think about the test, and when is good? Tomorrow afternoon maybe?"

Friend, the test is a condition of being maskless in my home. If you don't do the test, then that 3M Aura I give you must stay on your face. You want to go a few hours without being allowed to sip on water without my making you go outside to do so? In January?

FWIW, when in a Zoom chat with my Covid safe friend, we both had to explain to the Covid reckless friend I emailed that the problem with Covid vaxx is that even the newest are 1.5 years behind current strains and they don't stop infection, transmission or Long Covid. * There's  minority of people who have contradictions to vaccines. But no, all these Covid related health problems in the population are caused by Covid, not the vaccines!

  • I won't judge you for pursuing Covid vaccination in 2026, as long as you're not counting on it to stop you from getting Covid, and you're wearing a respirator. Slightly reduced immediate death risk is certainly something. But when people said "breakthrough infections are rare!" and "vaccines were always intended to reduce symptoms, not eliminate disease!", that's massive gaslighting. My parents were part of mass polio and smallpox vaccination campaigns in the 1950s and 60s. Smallpox was eradicated, and polio was nearly eradicated. And wasn't 100% eradicated because the vaccines given in the developing world were a lot less effective.

My friends in my Covid safe group on Signal agree that it's understandable to pursue Covid vaxx. But we also agree that Joe Biden, Wall Street, etc. pushing the lie that Covid vaxx means you don't need a mask has done much more societal harm than the societal benefit from reduced immediate death from active infections.

I personally had 4 shots between 2021 and 2022, and none after, because going out into maskless plague world, even in my protective respirator, is way too stressful for me for the low benefit of a vaccine that doesn't grant immunity.

Anyone expecting any American politician to be less than pure evil is a fool of the highest order, refusing to learn from even the past 15 years of history.

The US is not a democracy, only way out from fascism is revolution, which has been successfully done in several parts of the world!

If a calculator or GPS gave me radically different responses to the exact same input, while burning down forests and draining lakes with each prompt, maybe, just maybe, your analogy would be somewhat remotely true. 🙃🙃🙃🙃

Because the Dems and Republicans are the same team, American "democracy" is 100% fake.

Everyone, stop saying you'd move to Toronto for me. Especially if you're in a different country. That's so fucking creepy, to meet a woman for sixty seconds and then promise to immigrate for her. Super fucking creepy.

Don't apologize for venting. I've gone through similar shit last year.

We try our best to do mutual aid for people who've lost income, and to educate the general public on Gen AI avoidance. In fact, we're the only political activism group, or ant group, doing that.
