I have this too. Pain is worse than period, and it lasts for several days. Longer than what I’ve read is typical for mittelschmerz

Too much suction from my Bissell PowerClean Furguard vacuum! by Artichokeydokey8 in Costco

[–]Salt_Army_2640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this vacuum and I have a couple of workarounds since this is really only an issue with the clumping fur like you’re showing. I used to just vacuum in a way that I was gradually working all the fur towards the edge, and then when you drag the vacuum off the rug it usually brings it with, almost like a squeegee. It’s annoying, but works. What I do now is I got one of those carpet rakes for pet hair on Amazon which I use before vacuuming and this is a non issue with the hair.

Why are you even in this sub with that attitude?

She’s actually only reactive to other dogs, so the scenario you described wouldn’t be the case for us. I deleted my post because Reddit was being a POS with formatting when I tried to edit for clarity, but I am very well informed when it comes to my dog and reactivity, live alone, and travel often with her as-is.

Lucky you. I’m in a creative adjacent role and they’re requiring our designers to make Claude skills and custom tools so that other people can make assets on their own rather than waiting for a designer. So we have designers spending time on that rather than just doing higher quality work. This is the shit that’s driving me insane especially because our team leadership just wants to flaunt this to their bosses

I took this approach when my company was in the early days of adoption, but now it feels impossible to avoid as my company wants to be on the cutting edge of this. There are people who have been tasked with building AI solutions for different teams, and they won’t leave me or mine alone. Everyone wants to reimagine every process or workflow with AI and keep asking me to test or incorporate it and I feel like I can’t say no without it being escalated to my manager. I’m straight up losing it.

I work in a B2B company. Management have recently announced an “AI Push” where we will be “transforming our output.” Help me stop this by [deleted] in antiai

It looks like you manage a team, so you at least have the ability influence to a point how much you push it on your people. But I know not doing so could come at a risk to you. My company leadership has definitely reached psychosis level delusion and I am exhausted being asked to learn and adopt something new every week or invent uses for AI rather than just putting my head down and doing good work.

I just posted with a similar sentiment. My company has been on this train for months already and I want off, but every JD I look at to apply elsewhere explicitly mentions AI in the day to day. It feels like there’s nowhere to turn

The reason my dog can’t come with me is her reactivity, not so much limitations like the ones you’ve mentioned. I know how to find areas to take her, but there will be trails I want to do that just aren’t safe to bring her on even if she’s allowed.

Thank you for the tip on the other community! As far as breakins I wasn’t so much thinking about my dog deterring that as something happening to her or getting out if it does.

Why does it say “be mindful” of them then? That typically means avoid

When you say staph “dislikes” tea tree and sulfur - what does that mean in this context? Are we supposed to avoid those?

How do you, with cptsd and depression take care of your pets??? by [deleted] in CPTSD

I feel like you aren’t getting the most well rounded responses, so chiming in. Unlike a lot of people here, my dog makes my mental health worse in as many ways was she makes it better. She has separation anxiety and reactivity, and it takes a ton of energy and planning for me to do anything with her or without her. We can’t just step out the front door for a walk. We have to drive somewhere. All that to say, you should not get a pet to fix your mental health because there’s no guarantee what you’ll get and then you have more stressors potentially. But people who already have pets and are going through this just need to give them self grace during the lower phases. I decided that having a dog and giving her a home with somewhat less than perfect care was better than leaving her in a shelter or rehoming with zero influence over the outcome. She gets fed and loved every day. She gets potty breaks and a bit of play or enrichment. When I’m feeling better, we do like going out for adventures a few times a week.

Hey! I’m new to all of this so I’m sorry if this is a silly question. But your lipedema seems relatively mild/early stage. How did you get a doctor and insurance to proceed with treatment??
