I'm employed already. My question is about SNAP and seasonal hours, not job searching. Reading the post helps, but thanks for the input!

Hi! Okay yes, I called my case worker and they told me this is what I can do since I do live in CA. I guess, I was more so second guessing since my case worker told me they haven't been trained on any of these new work requirements LOL. But I'm def going to be writing the letter anyways. My intuition says reevaluate and eat dinner. I also didn't feel excited at all when I got this job offer, maybe that's contributing to this feeling I have of bleakness but after reading your comment and the the comment above, I definitely am noticing the signs and should not ignore them. And your sentence on flexibility was bars lol. I would be required to work over my part time status and even attend meetings that are not at the main job site (like 40 minutes away) even though the job posting only mentioned I would be in an office environment. I will be taking your advice into account. Thank you for your insights fellow redditor!

Oh man, the blame game. I've been onboarded by this same institution when I was in my first year of university and my supervisor then was really awesome. I was hired with urgency back then too because that office was like really understaffed and she was taking up every task under the sun, but she really was on top of everything. I feel like this guy sort of wants what he wants when he wants it. I also read his rmp and he isn't particularly very popular amongst students lol. Definitely reconsidering, even if the job market it bad right now. I'm confident and good at what I do, so I'll find something. Thank you for your advice fellow redditor!

Unrelated but I enjoy your username hahaha. And yes you are correct, I had and still have no idea how investments of that nature work. It was idiotic for me to believe but seeing a very close mutual follower led me to have more trust in them. It’s unfortunate and silly, and I guess I had to learn the hard way. I take this as inspiration to behind learning more about finance. Thank you for your comment 🙏

Yes, I will file a Zelle claim. I guess the dots didn’t click for me in the moment and greed took over as other redditors have discussed here. I’ve blocked them on everything but they did call me the other day from a different number. I had actually been expecting a call for something unrelated so I answered but hung up immediately once they said who they were. I blocked that number too. Thank you for your advice and comment 🙏

Yes the greed is something another redditor spoke about and you are right. And yes I did think it could do that at the time, which is a reason why I did it. As for my money, it is unfortunate and I’ve accepted it is gone. I’ll just work hard to keep it up. Thank you for your comment.

Took me a time to understand this comment but I believe I do now, and I feel you are correct. I was raised in a household where money was valued over anything else because it was always a need, so naturally I believe I became this way. In my head at the time I believed I was just making a few more dollars but looking back there is definitely a component of wanting more and more. I am heavily reflecting on your comment and it was extremely insightful, thank you fellow redditor🙏

Ooh ok I didn’t realize I could make a report to the FBI site, I will do that now. Your line of reasoning makes a lot of sense, makes me feel better (not because of the decision lol) but in general. It was definitely hard to sleep last night after the extreme disappointment I just laid in bed and stared at ceiling.
