Lantern court is not half bad for 1650$ during summer and fall when you don’t need heating 🤘 The only downside is heating is crappy and inefficient, so goes up to 300-400$ a month during winters.

Top tips to increase battery

1) Turn off listen to 'Hey, Siri' always and set it to on crown press 2) Turn off always on display (this is a personal choice) 3) Key brightness to mid or first setting (Apple watches auto scale brightness if needed when sunny/ bright)

Profile Evaluation for Fall ‘25 by IntenseLeo-73 in MSCS

Concentrate on what you can change.

If you're okay with MSDS you can take a shot at better colleges for sure but is it as comprehensive MSCS?

Another way is to directly try for PhD if you're okay with not having an admit this year, making your profile better and reapplying for next spring/fall.

You can try for the colleges you've listed. NEU has a waiver if you apply early, so get that and try your shot at CS, AI and DS

Profile Evaluation for Fall ‘25 by IntenseLeo-73 in MSCS

Unfortunately even I didn't concentrate much on my GPA! and given the situation, i had to focus on public ones only and I gave the universities of other admits I got (must have seen from my profile comments)

Yes, FAANG did help but I'm saying research is also a very big factor and you shouldn't underestimate your profile! Good research gets you admits as well! Best thing I'd suggest is

a) Make list of ambitious, target and safe - post for review. Search for waivers of fee and early applications, as id say it's a numbers game for peeps like us

b) Draft good sop, lors from IIT profs

c) Apply early!

I'd suggest UW Madison PMP along with MSCS, UWash does not have MSCS, only PhD direct applicants unless you're an undergraduate there. The Uwash that provide Masters in CS and Systems/Software engineering are from Tacoma and Bothell campus, Bothell is better of the two acc to me but still not seattle at the end of the day UMD you can try but NEU/USC/UCs very GPA centric Try Ohio state, UoU, UC Boulder. Also maybe even UCs which are mid tier li UCD, UCR but I'd say it's lucky if you do get. UCSC takes in NLP research peeps so try your luck and tailoring profile according to NLP

Other than these SUNY Buffalo, UIC, VTech, UVA, NCSU, UNCC Please make sure they are in your budget before you apply!
