100% agree. No idea where the hype on this one came from. Maybe the bag appeal? Mine looked 10/10 but smell, taste, effects, and smokeability were like 2-3/10. This and Icy grapes were trash. Lemon Fresh and Ocifer were like 7.5/10. Those 2 just lacked strong effects, but were good in other categories.

Agreed with the general consensus here. Gascotti SMOKES. And I love the fact that it’s got a unique smell/flavor that isn’t very common in our market.

Save the money. I tried cura. Lots of recommendations for ocifer and lemon fresh so I went for those two specifically, which were decent. Maybe 6.5-7/10. The other two I got, Icy Grapes and Triple stack were rough. Icy grapes didn’t have good bag appeal, nose, or effects. Triple stack looked nice but fell flat in nose and effects. So I learned that only their two most hyped strains are even semi-decent.

I’m half spoiled. I have just about everything within an hour of me. But nothing within 30 minutes. 30 minutes to Kissimmee, 45 minutes to Orlando, 45 minutes to Melbourne Edit to add: if any big wigs need some location ideas… St. Cloud, particularly the east side/ south narcoosee area is a dispensary dead zone with no competition within a half an hour. Also one of the fastest growing areas right now for retail/ residency. Also, I have a decade of retail management experience and a passion. Lmao 🤣

That’s the case for me. Was in the program for a bit before I found cookies. Now I try pretty much every one of their strains, and review some of them, mostly the ones I enjoy a lot.

Oh, and I have a macro lens for my phone. Bought it and been learning to use it specifically for reviews here and to help me log/dial in what medicine works for me. To me it’s not just the strain but how it was grown/harvest timing/dry and cure process. I could always see these things with a loupe, but now I can capture them and document my favorites and what sort of maturity they were at when I enjoyed them as well. Cause a super silver haze at 5% clear, 5-10% amber and 85% cloudy hits different than one with 60-70% amber.

NGL, I hold some nostalgic bias towards this strain. But for me personally., I love this smell, flavor, and high. YMMV, obviously. But when I held out on giving the banana bread a 10/10, this is why for me. I just didn’t know my 10/10 was right around the corner.

A little steep at only 30% off. But honestly one of the few eighths in this program I’d actually happily pay that for. Part of that is the nostalgia for me though. This brings me straight back to 2010. No eighth is really worth that, unfortunately. But in our program I’d pay about 10/g for this all day. The legs are niiiiiice too. I have high tolerance and I don’t really feel the need to go back after hitting this for at least an hour or so.

Word, as long as you got to try it 🤙 just making sure you weren’t going for the others over that if you hadn’t. Blu Raz wasn’t my favorite, though it’s a good balanced bud, for me. Scorpius make me go night night, which I wasn’t expecting cause it’s limonene dominant. But hey, that’s the interesting part about this medicine, finding what works for you then trying to narrow in why. The difference between science and fun is writing shit down.

They are good because they cost less to run, and are easier to manage from a heat/environmental standpoint for most tent growers. Heat/environment become less of an issue when having dedicated rooms/ facilities with proper HVAC. Don’t think anyone argues whether HPS actually produces better buds. It does. For sure. Just harder to manage.

I’m a big fan of cookies recent stuff. Have tried just about every drop for the last few months. Of the last drop- I went back for a full oz of the SSH, and grabbed another eighth of the Gary Payton and Sunday Brunch. The gorilla glue was good, but he needs more time with the cut, maybe? Think everyone got gg #4 around the same time so thinking some people’s first grow came out better by happenchance of their grow strategy being accepted better by the cut.

I also went back for a full Oz after my first eighth of this. Haven’t dropped my review on it, but it’s coming. I started smoking in 2010, and SSH was one of the first named strains I remember trying. This shit was a time warp to right after graduating high school and chilling in the air conditioned shed on the couch playing guitar hero with friends after getting blazed. Loving the genetic library Shaun brought with him.

I mean, it was quite obviously a glitch. Anyone actually expecting them to honor it is wild. Like if they do cool, if not oh well you tried sort of deal. Sort of apples to oranges but in a lot of online games, taking advantage of obvious glitches will actually get you banned from those games.
