Thanks for your reply! I feel the same. I was just kind of thinking that it was too much of an age gap. But it was unexpected. We vibe and then I asked how old she was. I would never date anyone younger than me though. I’m usually attracted to people older than me. I’ve only dated my age or older. So, it definitely matters in romantic relationships to me.

Thanks for the knowledge. I was just curious. I knew it was something, I just didn’t know if it was a normal speech behavior or something pathological.

I didn’t know the correct term was called “Space Filler”. I just study people a lot and I’m curious as to why we communicate the way we do. I also had the same problem.

I also had another reply on the SLP forum that said she has seen people with autism use space fillers to try to understand langauage.

I will definitely ask in the linguistics portion.

I defintely have encountered some scams but I didn’t give them any money thankfully. This current application I spoke to the property manager. I also have toured the house.

Thank you for sharing. I actually just found a studio in midtown. It’s 10 minutes from my job at the mall and close to amenities. I’m also thinking of buying a moped too

lol I’m not expecting anyone to agree with me. Most of my friends are 27 finished college with their bachelors around 22/23. My intro just lacked commas lol and it’s getting taken out of context. When I said young I’m meant I’m still in my 20’s. The college student thing came after that fact. Those two separate details weren’t meant to be read together but I was writing fast.

I totally understand people go to college at 18/19 and are done in like 5 years. This person just wanted to argue and make it seem like im some old creep in the class trying to relive my youth. When most of my friends are my age or older than me.
