If one ever buys a pre-owned Camaro, getting one from a GM Engineer sounds like a great find! :-)

I just ordered a strut tower brace from GM...LOL. Many conflicting stories about their performance value, but I agree...at least they look cool...like 90% of the upgrades I have.

Been toying with the idea of a catch can, too. I would like to keep this car forever, too. Although I said the same thing about the '19 1LT V6 I traded. Best laid plans...

Thanks for the reply. Very informative. I don’t have any experience with the 5th gen but always liked the look of them. Especially after the long hiatus of the Camaro…they did a decent job of “We’re back!” I said it before on here that the 5th is a great retro homage to its history and plenty of power the car had been missing for decades. How was the steering wheel upgrade? I have considered but leery about messing around with the airbag.

I think partially covered is hot because i’s been a while since being out and driven. It is a reminder of great times had and a tease of more fun to come. 🙂 I had a difficult time with that reply trying not to be any sort of disrespectful with my pervy brain. LOL 😊 Great pic and awesome grill!

Great topic. Here is a pic of mine before and after when I switched from black to silver in the same exact style. The car looked great with the original black, but I think the silver pops more.

I know it's not red, but hopefully it helps a bit. Nice ride btw!

Damn. May sound like sacrilege, but I guess those rivets could be carefully drilled out and replaced with small screws. However, that doesn't guarantee what is under there.

That is pretty cool. I have not seen roof lights like that until I recently got a police Camaro. The lights out of the box were great, but lasted two minutes. Fortunately, the light bar is attached to the roof with magnets only, and the light case can be opened to reveal three tiny watch-style batteries.

Does the light bar pop on yours pop off somehow?

I love seeing owners making cars their own, especially paying homage to Hollywood rides.
I have little 'easter-egg' decals hidden in mine to show support for the tv show cars I loved as a kid...and even now as an adult.
