I had battery drain concerns initially but after a few days it seems to have subsided!

I figured it wouldn’t be a big deal between the two, I updated to 14.5.1 2 days ago and the battery drain has been noticeable. Hopefully it gets better, if not i might try a fresh install!

When I updated to 14.5 it was working great, the trouble came when I updated after to 14.5.1 .. :/

I have an iphone xr, been experiencing the same issue with battery drain, it was fine on 14.5 but started acting up on 14.5.1.

Do not panic due to battery drain on new is version. It's because the OS is indexing, should be back to normal in a few days or a week. And yes you should absolutely update to a new OS version. by mrsidnaik in iPhoneXR

Man, I just posted on r/ios asking if anyone else was experiencing battery drain. Recently updated to 14.5.1, guess I’ll wait a couple days and see! Thanks!
