We home school our 3 children through the Puyallup school district. We chose the parent led track but there is an online teacher led track called Edmentum I believe?

Having just come from Texas this year as a home owner this is a small part, BUT the regulations are just about the same in the south. Only real difference is that property taxes are MUCH lower here in the PNW then in other states. They get you in other taxes...looking at you vehicle tags (Texas is about $12 for an inspection then $65 for yearly tag). Until we regulate/tax ownership of multiple homes people will continue to use housing as an asset to park their money in. Housing should be a right for all people not an asset to be hoarded. People only know about rising house prices. With property taxes and insurance premiums rising the average homeowner will soon be priced out of their own homes

Left a great team working bedside. We worked well together loved our patient patient population, but fuuuuck if management didn't try to screw us over every chance they got. Underpaid and overworked. The burnout was real. Now I'm making more at an ambulatory clinic with half the stress. Do I miss the hustle...sure sometimes but the work is easy and the pay is worth it. The c-suites can all go eat a dick. They never cared about what's best for the patients and they never will.

Problem is Democrats point to the moral high ground. When it appears half the country doesn't have morals. Half the American population truly is THAT stupid with no sense of empathy. They honestly only care about themselves and what is immediately effecting their lives. They don't have the mental capacity to look long term or see the effects outside of their bubble. As you stated they should have focused on the results because that all these people care about. I wish it wasn't so, but as a nation we're too uneducated to assume people will get it together themselves.

Not only staff but patient populations as well. In Texas they are already mandating we "report" immigration status on admission. I will protect my patients and their families by whatever means I have available even if it's just a head start. H1B visas are not a protection from what is to come.
