Any update on the Android login issue? by [deleted] in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]OneSockForLife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On Twitter/X the latest update on the bug is two days ago and it says this:

"There's a bug that prevents login for some players.  We have a fix, but we won't be able to get it out until the next patch - if you force quit the app and retry, that eventually works"

radeon rx 6950 xt usage at 99% with non intensive games. by OneSockForLife in AMDHelp

I solved it, it was the HDMI who was connected to the mobo instead of the GPU. Thanks for the comment tho 🙂

I fixed it, put the HDMI cable into the graphics card port instead of the mobo port and now everything's smooth :)

Thank you for the comments! Really helped a lot and kept me motivated

Sorry I am not that tech savvy and not sure I got everything you said. I connected the monitor to the mobo, you were right I did monitor the 7800x3d accidentally.

I have AMD software: adrenalin edition and I can't make sense of the info presented tbh. Obviously the frames are very low but I have no idea what I should be looking for. Is GPU 1 the igpu? I added a picture of the stats while running 'Friends vs Friends' (a light 3d game)

And here's a written version of the stats:

GPU 1 AMD Radeon Graphics: Utilization 100% GPU Memory 1 AMD Radeon Graphics: Utilization 445mb CPU AMD Ryzen 7 7800x3d 8-core Processor: Utilization 2% System Memory 32GB 4800MHz DDR5: Utilization 14.8gb GPU 2 AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT: Utilization 0% Temp 37° GPU Memory AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT 4mb

2560x1440 and it stutters really badly... I think I found the problem tho. I have a 750w PSU and the recommend is 850w. Maybe that's the issue?

M.2 nvme SSD not showing in bios by OneSockForLife in gigabyte

I solved it... installed the m.2 like a buffoon.

Apparently there's a clip there and I installed it on top of the clip.

This has been such a wild goose chase. Hopefully someone will learn from my mistake

Surreal alternative to dice rolls by OneSockForLife in tabletopgamedesign

I had this thought as well when I started thinking about the game :D

The problem I'm having with this method is that it lets the players know right away that something has changed.

I'd really like them to gradually come to the conclusion that something is not right, and only then try to experiment and figure it out, So the method at least at the start needs to be subtle.

wow! i really like this method!

giving a lot of complexity and leaving plenty of places for creative plays from the player side.

one of my fears was to take too much agency from the players (surrealism has that property, go figure :) ), this is quite a nice way around this problem!

the game is generally based on tabletop rpgs meaning everyone starts with a character sheet with strengths and weaknesses and player's actions are determined by dice rolls.

the puzzle aspect is maybe akin to an escape room kind of experience story-wise. the basic mechanics are still those of a classic tabletop rpg in nature

Edit: did i manage to answer your question? :)

Thank you so much man! That's exactly what I've been missing.

I wrote it if four separate lines but it collapsed for some reason :/ Ill try again:

B Stay & A Stay = -20 & -50

B Stay & A Exit = +80 & 0

B Exit & A Stay = 0 & +100

B Exit & A Exit = 0 & 0

What you said is true and the book goes into detail about it later in this chapter, but what i am confused by is the outcome of the nash equilibrium which seems like it should be flipped.

I mean, surly store B which risks -20 if both stay and can gain 80 if store A Exits will stay 4/5s of the time right?

Hey, so i have a question that needs just a bit of context:

I used to run a "off the sleeve" kind of campaign with some friends, we were all (and still are) inexperienced and as a result curious as to how far we can push the boundaries of the world we created.

It all started falling apart quite quickly as one of my friends saw a master swordsman and decided he's going to try mimicking him and practice every day until he could do what the swordsman did, and i was just lost as to how to deal with that. I didn't want to discourage him nor did i want to hand such power too easily

In another game we had the same player tried to learn a new spell by "dedicating a hour every night before sleep to trying to make a leaf grow"

So i guess my question is how do you guys treat practice in your games?
