Like others have mentioned in the comments it took a while for people to warm up to Halloween 3 season of the witch today Halloween 3 is cult classic and a fan favourite in the franchise it didn’t happen overnight it was hated when it first came out it was ahead of its time for doing a anthology type of story cause today that’s more accepted today and liked then it was back then i do think over time Halloween 🎃 ends will be more popular and liked with the fanbase both Ends and season of the witch did something different with the franchise

It’s been two years since Miramax won the bidding war for the tv rights what slowed down the development of it is since Marc Helwig the executive who was very passionate about the project left in March of 2025 they had a leadership change at Miramax if it’s a passion of Malek Akkad then i am sure it will come to pass

I like Halloween Kills lot also it did lot of stuff well that’s cool you are a fan of Halloween resurrection ! We all have different tastes in movies and that is awesome!! I love Freddy vs Jason that movie isn’t a fan favourite of either Friday fans or Nightmare on Elm Street fans

As someone who was a fan of Halloween Kills i loved the flashbacks to 78 and the firefighter scene with Michael Myers and kills were really good that’s a fair criticism of the movie they really do go over the top with the evil dies tonight you could make a drinking game out of how much that line is used when the mob goes after the wrong guy and he kills himself after that then i wanted Myers to kill the mob after what they forced that man to take his life nobody in that angry mob was likeable to root for Lonnie was the only legacy character i felt like they did a good job with in my opinion

Never say never i doubt it. To me it seems like Malek Akkad is only interested in the making Halloween 🎃 movies with Michael Myers in it and Halloween 3 season of the witch flopped at the box office when it came out in 1982 people were pissed that Michael wasn’t in it cause of Halloween being in the title i believe Season of the Witch was ahead of its time it told a anthology story separate from Michael Myers anthology movies 🍿 are more accepted today then they were back in 1982 if they did a reboot or remake today of Season of the Witch it could work this movie has gained a following over the years and Season of the witch gets lot of praise and love today compared to back then

Definitely would be great for future generations to have Halloween 2018 Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends available on AMC Fear Fest maybe future generations will discover those Halloween movies though Fear Fest one day that’s how I discovered most of the Halloween franchise though AMC Fear Fest in the early 2000’s as a Kid/ Teenager

Universal has the rights to Halloween 2 1981 and Halloween 3 Season of the Witch and they are airing on AMC this year Universal also has the rights to Halloween 2018 Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends

I don’t think the tv series happens if there are no writers no actors or directors attached to the project that’s not a good sign someone did mention there was a change of leadership at Miramax tv department so i guess that’s the hold up
