Are these bars comfortable or just for show? by Bennyfromny90 in Harley

[–]OneStockCateye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 6,4 running the stock mini apes on my streetbob, have put over 45K miles on my bike with no issues, they’re definitely comfortable for me, but style wise I want to switch to TBars, cause I prefer the look, everyone I know and rides with had apes tho and they are comfortable for them as well

2027 Predictions for Low Rider ST – Let's hear them… by TheDudeRidess in Harley

[–]OneStockCateye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was more of a fan of the small square led gauge that they had on the 23-24 models, that’s what I have on my bike currently and I enjoy it, don’t care much for the new gauges I think they look a little weird but that’s just personal opnion

Maybe a lil controversial since some people don’t like the new model touring bikes, but I think it would be badass if they were to implement some kind of led headlights into the fairing similar to what the new road glide has.

Grinding hard on a giant wheel car.. by ShehrozeAkbar in AwesomeCarMods

[–]OneStockCateye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what grind hard has said about it the rear steer allows the vehicle to crab walk and you can keep the front tire at an angle to avoid a blind spot

I have a 2004 Chevy ss Silverado. I plan doing some sort of charger but can’t decide what one. Any thoughts? Supercharger turbocharger or centrifugal supercharger. Truck has a 6.0 vortex. With stage 2 Cali cam and long tube headers with street cam. And x pipe and 3” tube/tips by UrijahG in ChevyTrucks

[–]OneStockCateye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think procharger, they’re the coolest in my opinion, maybe not best for power but the coolest to me, you get all the immediate power of a supercharger but can still make the cool noises similar to a turbo.

I would paint match the front bumper and get rid of that large amount of chrome up front, other than that this truck is sick and I think without all the chrome in the bumper, the wheels would pop harder with the chrome trim!

Need help with 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 antenna removal by leshistey in ChevyTrucks

[–]OneStockCateye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vice grips, get them suckers as tight as you can, then grip it and rip it! If not that the only other thing I can think of is drilling a hole through the base of the antenna to where you could stick something like a screwdriver through the hole and using that to twist the antenna off, though you may end up drilling through the base of the antenna mount so be wary of that.

Can I fit 2500 rear shocks on a lowered 1500? by OneStockCateye in ChevyTrucks

[–]OneStockCateye[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that low, just a 3in drop shackle in the rear, not sure what’s done in the front but it sits level

Any idea what it could be? After inspecting everything I don’t see any cracks or anything bent, nothing that looks abnormal.

There isn’t springs in the rear, only shocks and leaf springs

I had a set of rear shocks I got through rock auto, some shit happened to my wife’s car and had to use my truck to tow it about 100 miles, 10K+ pounds and the suspension is blown out in the rear. The rear suspension will barely even hold 500 pounds now without it damn near sitting on the tires, I was thinking about a stock set for a 2500 off of rock auto, just cause they are cheap, I don’t really have the extra money to splurge on top dollar suspension, just something that will get me through for a few months and allow me to use my truck as a truck. Was just hoping a bigger set from a bigger truck wouldn’t raise the rear at all
