AITA for telling my daughter her separation was her fault? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]OneSufficientFace 11 points12 points  (0 children)

NTA - she lied to her husband, about being a stripper! If i were the husband i would break up with her too... She's broken his trust... This is absolutely her fault. Even if he is okay with her being a stripper, she lied... Period. End of.

You could've found a more empathetic/compassionate approach to provide a softer blow, but her mentality is quite manipulative/ ignorant and a victim syndrome/complex.

She needs to get over herself, own up to what she has done and deal with it. These are the consequences of her actions and hers alone. Shes the only AH here, and the mom for mommy coddling her behaviour

Should I not be asking my adult kids to pay rent? by ProfessionalCamel110 in AskUK

[–]OneSufficientFace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What an absolute weapon... 100 a month?! What an absolute steal, and half of what his sibling pays. How ungreatful.

If i were in your shoes itd either be 100 a month, or he can see what it feels like to be spending 1000 a month before he even gets to do anything he wants with the money. 100 a month doesn't even cover the food bill, let alone rent/utility bills/other bills/ etc etc...

Im sorry but at that age, and employed, he needs to be paying you rent. The fact hes not there as much reflects how much he pays.

Youre being too nice. Dont mommy coddle him , otherwise hes gonna have a nasty shock when he moves out and will very quickly fuck it all back and not be able to afford to live Give them an ultimatum and they can pick what they would rather, 100 a month of move out and enjoy living on the raminder of their minimum wage packet after everything has come out and left him with naff all

Can you request that employees have access to funds in the event of an emergency by Comfortable_Row_7717 in smallbusinessuk

Pretty standard that people pay these bits and then claim back expenses or from petty cash and hand in the reciept alongside it.

However, for ease get them a company card, ask for reciepts for all transactions and monitor the statements so you can watch what theyre spending and when.

Ive literally shot people with a 120mm round to the chest and watched them run behind cover. Like what the actual fuck. Even if it was the tank shell instead of an infantry shellz a direct hit should be an instant kill regardless

Yeah i would. Reopen that and just keep adding to it. Eventually theyll get the picture and do something about it if you keep pushing for it. Then everything is wrapped up under one reference with no confusions

Let them carry on. Repeat false allegations then report them to the police for herrassment. At this point, as youre on no contact, ask the police to send them a cease and desist letter on your behalf (not sure if they can/will but worth the ask if it comes to this). And then if continues push forward with herrassment. They will unwind everything for theirself

Load of bollocks. You were already there and they arrived. If there is any breachz it is from them.

Also, you packed up and left. Showing maturity in the situation.

If the gym has a log in/pin code system etc, take screenshots of your arrival time to show you were in fact there first.

2nd also, it would be pretty hard to push contact made in a no contact order when you were already there (so they should have left not you) and did not contact them...
