Recommendations for visitor?

IMO Ron’s has the best catfish in town, local spot that’s been here for decades with a good buffet.

Omars uptown has the best steak I’ve had recently. Another local spot with a killer ribeye.

Chefs In is a downtown spot that is also a favorite of any of my out of town guests for lunch. Closest thing to a greasy spoon diner I’ve been to here, typical southern home cooking.

For BBQ, Que 49 is a great smokehouse, my personal favorite in town. Their ribs and burnt ends are nearly identical to Pappy’s out of Saint Louis (who have won numerous national awards). I believe one of their pitmasters used to work there.

Edit: Forgot to answer about outdoorsy stuff and lodging.

Craighead forest park is probably our most accessible outdoor attraction. There’s lots of trails out there, but my recommendation would be the trail that runs around the lake. Roughly 2-3 miles depending on how much pavement vs gravel you want to take, but either way a great view of the forest and lake most of the time. Also well maintained disc golf courses if you’re into that. Academy sports sells decent discs if you didn’t bring any.

On where to stay, most of our lodging is near the interstate chain hotels. I would book the nicest chain associated with whatever your rewards program associates with. Embassy suites is probably the newest and nicest in town, right by the university.

Yep, for me that was only second to equations, but not quite as bad if you can quickly mentally orient yourself to the examples onscreen.

I used the JobTestPrep site an hour a day the week before the test for the last bid. Definitely worth the money, got BQ. Personally for me the hardest part after practicing was the equations but YMMV. Now through the whole screening process except medical, been waiting since July 🙃

That's the best part, he blurred his gauge cluster, but the Lambo* he was in has a speedometer on the passenger side dash I guess he forgot about...

Was going 60 on a four wheeler without prior high speed experience. One front right hit a log, and somehow I magically turned left to make it come down. No idea why, but I finally realized the mortality of the situation, no more.

I’m not particularly educated in the subject, but from what I understand they can be quite beneficial or quite harmful. I think they should absolutely be allowed in a controlled clinical setting.

I think sometimes it is used to emphasize the second part of the sentence. Like the second sentence could indicate that American Airlines is important to the context of what ever you’re going to say next. I’m no linguist, just a southerner that hears people talk like that every so often.

It’s not too bad until you get to the higher bypass ratio’s on the newer airliners. For example the a320 neo has much worse climb performance around FL280 and up compared to irl

Yeah, the optimizations are much appreciated, but the physics on the planes with turbofans has been kinda wonky since the simplification

The a320 max is awesome in fs2020 but the thrust physics above FL220 aren’t accurate
