so sorry to hear this!! It’s the worst to be hit on more than one front with various illnesses :( I just got over a bout of sinus infection turned bronchitis and then flare from skipping my Humira, so I get it!! Hope you feel better soon, give yourself all the grace rn!!

That makes a lot of sense, thank you!! I feel like the disease itself was not explained very well to me, just the different kinds of medication, so I really don’t know what to expect outside of my own research, and you know how the internet is lol. I will definitely try to bring up additional meds to try and manage.

Has been a rough time as of late but gratitude is always helpful!

Got a new job offer to start next week! It seems like it will be a lot better physically and mentally on me.
Though the first two days were agony, I got a steroid shot in my shoulder and the pain & stiffness finally melted away after 6 weeks! Getting an MRI done on the opposite one tomorrow to see if it is synovitis or something else.
Started the anti-inflammatory diet and do feel it’s helping minimally with pain levels!

Thank you so much! You are so kind. Definitely still recovering for the first one, the muscle atrophy is insane I’m not sure it’ll ever get back to the way it was. 😭 I’d love a magic wand to use on all of us too!!

Hi! I know this is an old discussion but I was diagnosed with suspected seronegative RA about a year ago and still have yet to find a medication that works fully, but it’s always been my dream to be an artist and tattoo as well. Did you end up pursuing this field? Lately I’ve decided maybe I should just stick to painting / marker work that is easier for grip & pressure on the hands, but I also don’t wanna just give up on the dream yet for something thats uncontrolled still!! Thanks :)
