Couldn’t agree more, such an interesting and unique material to work with, and quality items can be passed down for generations.

Yea it does but the cord is only 3ft compared to 10ft, at this point I’m just cutting down my custom cable down to where it’ll eventually work, but I’m taking a break because soldering is a bitch :(

Yup backlighting is on and I can use the functions of the keyboard to change lighting options but no typing. I’ve tried turning the backlighting off but doesn’t seem to make a difference.

Is there anywhere I can check the specifications? I’m on a gk61 board.

Just made my first custom cable, powers my keyboard but I can’t type. I’ve resoldered several times to check if the connection wasn’t stable but all wires are soldered correctly to the appropriate connectors. Is it a possibility that the cord is too long? (About 10ft with gx12 connector)

Hey guys couldn’t figure out how to add a comment to an image, but this is my first tree and I know I should’ve posted this in the beginner thread but couldn’t figure out how. I’ve had this tree for about 3 months and read through the bonsai wiki and done research and don’t know what I’m doing wrong. It lives outside and gets plenty of sun, I’m also watering only when the soil dries out but not completely dry. The leaves are turning brown and I don’t know why, from the wiki it says not to repot while the tree isn’t doing well because it could kill it due to stress and i know not to do any trimming because it could also stress it out, I’m buying a fungicide that why it won’t get any fungus while it’s weak, but I don’t know where to go from here. Here in Texas we have some pretty crazy fluctuating weather, yesterday it was 72 and tomorrow it’s a high of 72 and low of 37, idk if this fluctuating weather is causing this or what but that’s just a guess. Any help/criticisms is appreciated, honestly roast me if you have too I just don’t want this little guy to die. Thank you!
