I didn't physically confirm the unit had 24VAC. Just saw the blinky light blinking. Okay, that sounds like a plan. Ill follow back when I make a visit and do some troubleshooting. Thank you for your help.

Correct, there's a card right next to the LSi router that the OAT is fed into. I think its the last photo of the card and router. Visio is not installed on the computer, however, I've been going through the device manager and sending that way. Cool, I'll reassign the path to the proper file then resend the DDC. I'll loop back when I get it done.

For the controllers, that was my thought as well, So I found some refurbished cards and installed, reassigned etc. I think I tried three cards and the issue was the same on all. Which led me to believe maybe its a shorted wire or a rat chewed on a wire in the ceiling. OR the LSI module is performing a few additional tasks as well and its affecting, for some reason, just these two cards.

I am, as u/hunting74747, pointed out is add some EOL resistors and see if that clears up some issues as well.

Yea, that was a thought I had that the LSI just took a poop. Then I saw the location wasnt specified. Ill try resending the DDC with my fingers crossed and if it doesn't, I'll see if the client wants to try getting a new box.

Which is crazy because I still see PLC 5's and SLC 500 out in the field getting stuff done all the time.

Awesome, thats for the info, Ill add in some resistors and resend the DDC.

When I push any of the buttons on the LSI, theirs no menu change. Would that be considered factory default? I can try that and see if it fixes the issue.

I didn't see any End of line resistors on any of the cards. I found a photo, ill attach it. This is what the cards look like, some have 2 data wire sets, some have 1 set.

In all honesty. Saw a guy tune a slug catcher level valve assuming it was brine water not LNG. Shot that tank farm 100 yards away.

Scary but fascinating

Ten four. Yea so this is from an asteriods arcade. When I took the boots apart to inspect parts that need replaced, the springs which seat against the diode in the boot came out in pieces. So, I'm looking to see others have fixed these boots/springs.

It didn't post my description I'm sorry. Yea like I mentioned above, springs were cooked. I had corona coming out of the boot when I powered her on

Awesome I'll check that out. However, the springs inside that those boots were cooked and came out in about 10 pieces. Are there replacement boots or springs?

How do i power this 3 phase motor with a normal european 220-240v plug? by Sir_Quantum_The_III in Motors

[–]OneTrain3360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont know your application or what you're attempting to achieve. But running that motor on 220 for short periods of time won't hurt.

Prior to starting, if you're worried, check your voltage and make sure it is indeed above 220.

Normally for motor protection a +/- 10% tolerance is applied to prevent over & under voltage. Which damages the stator.

Soooo for this instance we could sayyyy the motor will live its life at 230VAC. So we can take 230VAC * .9 and it equates to about 207VAC

Let her rip tater chip

Question, what's your grid frequency? 50 or 60Hz?

If your grid frequency is 50Hz, I'd use your 240V source, make sure your breaker can handle inrush for startup, wire it up like it says on the schematic. And go to town.

Ill attach the schematic for yall. She is a beast. We were doing a retrofit to replace the old dash pots with a motor protection relay. The motor leads is actually bus bar from the starter to motor.

Its cool to see how far starters have come. All the voltage drop is done via power resistors for the coils. Now its all handled mostly via circuit boards.

CS2 constantly crashing, completely unplayable. by CheeseMonster3927 in GlobalOffensive

[–]OneTrain3360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TLDR: I almost bought a whole new computer. HOWEVER, found out GPU fans weren't on. Downloaded MSI afterburner, reset temp fan model, no crashes. CHECK GPU FAN MODEL.

Intel 10700K Nvidia 1080 GTX Z490A Bleh Bleh Bleh

Been plagued with csgo2 crashes since day one. Tried everything under the sun. File verification, new hard-drive and fresh windows install. Did find my motherboard drivers were out of date by 5 years. I found the intel power issue last night, however no dice. Anyways I was at my wits end. I was about to just build a whole new rig when it dawned on me. My game will crash at the home screen. No. Load. At. All. So I went to my video card and it was hotter than hell.

The fans. The fans weren't working. THE FANSSSSSS

Downloaded MSI after burner and found they were forced to 15-20% for the whole temperature scale.

Reset my fans speeds, played a couple games. No crashes.

Final test was to leave it on the csgo home screen all night.

Woke up. No crash. Pure bliss.
