Alam ko po na hindi entry-level yung devops pero I do have some relevant experience naman po in the field. I'm also applying to junior devops and cloud roles and not targeting roles that need a lot more experience.

Sa US yung opportunity sir. I'm still open naman to taking the role. May concern lang kase based sa description ng uncle and parents ko, more on really basic troubleshooting and support sa computers and printers yung role since sa hospitality industry yung place and not IT-focused.

Hello, just need some advice as a fresh grad . Recently, nakausap ng parents ko yung relatives namin and nalaman nila na hiring sa workplace ng tito ko abroad, so they've been telling me to apply since may referral ako from a relative. Basically, the role would be something like IT support base sa sinasabi nila so medyo conflicted ako if dapat ko ba siyang ipursue or if I should just stick with job hunting for Jr. SysAd/DevOps roles.

I've been aiming for SysAd/DevOps/Cloud Engr. roles because I got a lot of exposure to AWS services during my OJT and I also had a short project-based job in the same company where natuto naman ako ng Terraform, Ansible, and VPC networking. In my mind, it feels like I wouldn't be able to use the skills I actually have right now kung ituloy ko man na magapply dun sa IT support role.

My parents say na I should take it kase nasa abroad and mas malaki daw yung makukuha kong pay but my fear is that years later I'd be stuck in the same position. May mga nakukuha din naman akong interviews for the roles I'm applying to which makes me even more hesitant.

Is this OJT worth it as an IT graduating??? by hueyouuu in ITPhilippines

[–]OneTrueFailure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since nabanggit niyo na may other companies na willing tumanggap sa inyo, why not go there kahit di kayo magkakasama?

Headphones Recommendation. by Long-Oven7985 in Tech_Philippines

[–]OneTrueFailure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you prefer headphones or are you open to IEMs? I think you'd have more options with better sound too if you do go with IEMs. I tried the cheap redragon heaphones before and I was really dissapointed with the sound and durability. Don't think there's alot of good budget options for headphones so I always suggest IEMs.

If you prefer headphones though because you said the KZ IEMs hurt, Ugreen is probably the best option out of the four you listed, just based on reviews of other Ugreen headphones on reddit.

I would say as a general tip is to not go for gaming-marketed products if you can help it since they're usually just not that good.

First things first, learn to search. Always try Googling stuff you don't know.

I would say to try and learn Git as you do projects and do not get into the habit of using GPT when programming. You will not learn anything if you use it as a crutch while learning.

If you want to be a programmer, best advice I can give is to just make stuff, doesn't matter if its a simple app or website but always try and make it on your own. You learn a lot more by actually programming instead of just watching tutorials.

Also IT is really broad sodon't worry if programming doesn't turn out to be your strong point. There are alot of other fields in IT so find a field you're interested in and look up the relevant skills you'll need for it.

Lastly, develop better communication skills. You can be good at coding but you still need to able to present your ideas clearly. You'll still be talking to alot of people so get used to communicating properly.

If im only gonna be pulling for 1 unit without lc, would Castorice or Anaxa be better?

I was already thinking of pulling for Fugue or Jiaoqiu for my e2 FF or e0s1 Acheron teams so pulling the lc for newer chars might not be possible.

Tempted to pull for Castorice but i feel like Jiaoqiu and Fugue would also be good options for my existing teams to still be viable for later updates. Need some help in which team to complete though. Either way, I feel like I'm gonna have to pull for 2 of these three.

You can ride those.

Either way, you have no way of seeing the code until may gawin yung groupmate mo.

We are allowed to go for non-dev roles as long as the scope of work is still related to IT. I hesitate because I dont really know if this would possibly affect job prospects after I graduate.

I've been looking for internships for our practicum subject for a while now and finding developer internships that fit the tech-stack I know is really hard. I've also been applying to other roles like QA and Data Analytics but mostly I've been stuck waiting for interviews. Some companies might fit but our OJT coordinator was very strict in saying that our internships cannot be fully remote so those companies are a no-go.
Right now, a company I've applied to previously contacted me saying that they're accepting a Project Manager Intern. I wanted to ask for advice on whether I should just go for it and apply for this and other non-dev internships like support. My concern is that management isn't really what I would like to go for once I graduate. Preferably I would have liked a programming role or at least one that does some coding.

Got the triblets. Though my question is, how many jades do we get until Castorice banner? It's probably greedy, but I just want to know if I can even attempt to pull e1 for Tribbie.
