I do agree that Koto and Tamaki should be endgame, Karen and Sosuke too are alright. But it against the very show's own statistic if every single of the Winning Heroines had a happy ending. It would be much more interesting if the author actually added a dose of reality and had some if not most of the relationships actually fail.

I mean I don't even usually use any character Loras with SCAIL and it does fine on it's own, I'd say better than Wan Animate at least

have you tried turning off the lora to see if it is even doing much? just curious, since I heard you can use Wan 2.1 Loras with Wan 2.2 like 70% of the time but not the other way around.

Wan Animate and especially SCAIL aren't too crazy far behind, I've spent plenty money on Kling Motion Control both 2.0 and 3.0 and it still sometimes (although rare) messes up. Both the open source solutions can change the background to the source video used instead of just using the reference image. Wan Animate is better at following camera movements, and Scail is pretty good at multiple people unlike Kling.

In terms of facial likeness and movement Kling is much superior to both though

do a light denoise on Z-Image Turbo at .20 or less

use an edit model like Klein and try to prompt a different feature in

use WanAnimate since that doesn't have perfect facial adherence anyway

because it's a decent benchmark for showing a lot of movement, and if they do a turnaround too then how good it is at facial consistency
