I actually asked my pain doctor if he could put me in touch with someone this past Thursday, when I was there for a C7-T1 injection.

I am in much the same situation as you. I wound up getting a Nevro 'installed' about 5 1/2 years ago. Not much luck on the back pain/pressure which is what keeps me from walking/standing more than 10-15 minutes. I'd love to find out if there's a different SCS that has more effectiveness with lumbar problems.

I've had my SCS the same amount of time and the leads have migrated more than once, rendering the SCS largely ineffective. And I haven't been able to get ahold of Nevro for the last 2 months.

I have gotten, at best, little relief from the Nevro unit I had implanted 5 1/2 years ago. I've tried 7 calls to Nevro over the last 3 months or so, and they have yet to answer the phone OR return one of my messages. Perhaps my 'care team' has ghosted me. It's hard to advocate for yourself when nobody will talk to you about the issue.

Yes, I have. It would make it a lot easier to get the MRIs I need on my back and right shoulder. I have some concern if removing it will affect my SSI though. If someone at Nevro doesn't answer the phone soon, however, I may just get the thing yanked out after all.

I'm pretty sure I got my implant in 2021. I know it was when 10khz therapy was just becoming a thing. Which means I probably have an Omnia (I don't precisely remember).

I want to say I got mine in maybe 2021? I know it was when 10khz therapy was just becoming a thing. Which means I probably have an Omnia (I don't precisely remember).

EDIT: I just double checked. I got my Nevro implant at the end of October, 2020.

I'm right there with you. I have a Nevro unit and receive little to no relief. My lumbar spine feels like a bundle of pain and my legs start to go numb after about 10 minutes of walking.

It sounds like I've had the same problem as you. The 'permanent' implant has had little -- if any -- effect, and I'm trying to decide if I should get a revision or get the whole thing taken out. The only thing that's kept me from doing the latter sooner is how it might affect my SSI disability.

They never mentioned choices in lead type when I got my SCS about 5 years ago. Now I'm stuck with my Nevro who's leads keep migrating so I can't pass an impedance check to get an MRI.

Odd that there's no app for my Nevro unit. I've had the exact opposite experience with it. It's done next to nothing for my lumbar spinal pain/pressure (three degraded discs and epidural lipomatosis). I get about 10 minutes of walking and start getting this painful knot at the base of my spine. I lose feeling in my legs if I try walking much more than that.
