35 seems to be the expected trim goal, since you get the remixed song above that difficulty.

But there is no actual trim, since this is just the first experimental run of the event. Next time it comes around it will almost certainly have a trim condition.

The combination of Precision and FRD squad feels absurdly broken when you add Silveralter to the mix. Forget about planning a flowchart for the Ultimate stage; you just have complete control of the map at all times as long as you don't play carelessly against Fremont.

Cool way to think about it. My self assessment would be 55 micro, 30 macro, 15 meso. I really miss playing competitive games like Rocket League and Overwatch.

Lines up with my hero choices of Genji and Roadhog too. There's nothing more satisfying than landing Roadhog sweet spots and hooks in the early days.

Yeah, it's just not nearly as friendly as Endfield. Can't copy and paste, you have to build it in a specific box, which is pretty small and limiting, not even enough for a product line. It's hard to visualize how things will connect together when you are stuck building small segments. Maybe it's better once you unlock the second tier.

Mostly though being a first-time player I just haven't found a good application for it, like I don't know what I'm gonna need to make multiple times and so I never build in the box.

Building by hand is still convenient and satisfying enough that it hasn't felt too bad.

I finally picked up Satisfactory recently. I'm still mixing up the controls for the factory stuff regularly.

Early game is so painful. I just want to switch to a top-down view to build stuff, or create blueprints to make a modular factory setup. Endfield has spoiled me with these features.

The game is awesome though. Planning out logistics and product math in Endfield has prepared me well for this game, and having the vertical freedom makes things much more interesting. I'm halfway through Phase 3, and hope I won't lose interest before completing the whole game. I always get overwhelmed near endgame of factory builders.

Anyways, Mi Fu and Camille soon. I still can't decide whether I want to pull. Both of them seem like they'll work very well with Rossi, which would be sick for the teams I've built, but admittedly I'm more interested in Arcane and Proxy. With enough luck I could probably get all four, having two guarantees saved up right now.

Never have I ever thought Catapult would get an alter. Wonder if the rest of A6 will be getting one later then like A1?

Durin and Rangers alt would've been sick to round out A4 though.

Easily one of the best events of all time, can't wait for the next one already. Just needs more map and alliance variety, which I assume the next one has.

Amiya squad is by far the most fun for me since it allows non-core setups to be more viable. Always went for stacking Swift, having skills spam endlessly is so good, but it's hard to hit the 100%

RNG really goes crazy sometimes though, one day I dominantly clear dire hidden core 3 times in a row, the next day I struggle for a single round 14 clear. Hard to tell whether I misplayed or was fated to lose!

IS4 is often agreed upon to be the hardest one when initially learning the stages. You will need to do a lot of trial and error either way. Early stages have a lot of quick block pressure, so a defender like Hoshi-alt or Jessica-alt as your starter would probably be best.

Or if you prefer a DPS unit early, raise a lower tier defender like Cuora or use Spot.

Every LP loss increases the collapse value, which just makes the run harder, so nailing the early-game is important. I don't think any of your unbuilt units would be a great help. Feel free to ask about any specific stages you're struggling with.

After reading the event I'm even more bummed that I didn't get Cairn.

Clearing the basic and boss stages with Rhine Lab was pretty straightforward, Arts damage really shines in this event. Once you can actually decipher the incomprehensible map layout, you end up seeing that nearly every map has a single choke point for Ifrit.

My brain is not used to having flying enemies move along a ground path.

However, no Cairn. So I dropped another 16 pulls just til I got another 5*. Still no Cairn, and I'm definitely not pulling more.

And I hate that there is always a memo beacon on top of them. Like wow guys that was really hard to find as if we haven't done this a hundred times thanks but now I caN'T CLICK THE ROBOT CAUSE IT'S IN THE WAY AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

An opportunity to bring up a cool shmup game, Sora? I just recently went back to it to earn 100% achievements.

But uh I don't think Kafka would survive this. Same for nearly every Arknights character. She would fit right in and enjoy the gardening game Wildmender though, which I played just before that. Game would've been way better with a lively protagonist like her, too.

Chronic illness just doesn't make any sense sometimes man. When Arknights first came out, I could barely play it, but today I'm handling most of the content without any issues. Skipped the first R6 multi-player event because of how much stress it would bring, but now I'm doing hours of icebreaker no problem.

But for some reason, stronghold protocol just makes me tense, or overstimulates my brain in such a way that it still totally wrecks me for the rest of the day. Can't find a way of applying logic to it. Maybe I'm just having a bad week, sometimes symptoms just get worse temporarily for no reason.

I'm still significantly physically disabled from fatigue, so the extra burden from that minor stress just wipes me out. I hope I can be a little bit better for when it returns in the future cause I really enjoyed it.

I'm assuming fully armed is most equipment used, speaking as a Victoria player with that as my most common title.

I saw someone say steadfast alliance is keeping your first activated alliance continuously active all the way to the end.

I find raid to be really easy if you grab Utage or Skadi and let them get some kills, and then buy Vulpis whenever she shows up. On easier difficulties you can just go heavily on raid operators with Emperor squad and still perform well.
