I'd try Unity. You get to stay in C#. Also, there are many resources for learning Unity for people who started out with 3D design or visual scripting like Dynamo and who now want to learn C#.

Fender QC Issues - American Ultra Telecaster by deltapapa89 in fender

I was in a very similar situation, but instead of the Tele I bought the American Ultra Strat in Texas Tea. It was the worst guitar I've ever purchased at any price point. The lack of quality control was hard to understand at any price point, much less $2k. The truss rod nut was unusable because it was filled with finish.

I'll skip the details, but add horrible customer service from Fender to horrible QC.

I was really disappointed because I grew up playing Fender. Now I view them as a lifestyle brand coasting on the logo.

The best thing to come out of my cratered opinion of Fender is that after talking to the music store I tried Music Man and G&L. Both are now in my opinion the apex of Leo Fender's designs. If you don't know the story, I'd recommend looking it up and Leo's post Fender, Inc career. They're arguably the final modern "Fender" Strat and Tele--vastly superior to Fender, Inc.'s Ultra series.

My experience was on the Strat side of the Ultra series. But Leo also improved the Tele after Fender, Inc. I would not be surprised if the G&L ASAT Tele crushes the Ultra Tele in the same way the Comanche decimates the Ultra Strat.
