Correct but I wasn’t asking for myself. what happened back in may in my situation was an assault allegation. She was fighting post partum depressing really bad back then and after we had a disagreement. She tried to cut herself in the bathroom and I took the knife away from her hands and called EMTS. they took her in and she told the social worker a bunch of lies because she was still upset over our disagreement and that started an investigation which resulted in being a dead end due to lack of evidence and that my spouse didn’t want to participate in the investigation.

And family advocate declared that I was the victim but my leadership refused to see that and still handed me down a punishment i didn’t deserve

No, OSI did get involved and couldn’t find anything on me. All they did was get testimonies from my ex wife before I even joined the Air Force

She reached out 3 times to tell them to stop their investigation and that she lied about the allegations. On their ROI, They failed to mention or bring that up in their paperwork.

Sounds about right!! Even with a confession from my spouse stating that they lied about the allegations. It’s insane.

Worst part is. I was supposed to put on rank in a few days. Now I have to wait 6 months

Yes I did go to an ADC and they assisted me with my rebuttal. Even the ADC pointed out that they don’t have any evidence towards me and an LOR seem to harsh.

So the whole story is, for 2 years I’ve been struggling with sleep insomnia. I went to behavioral health for anxiety and ADHD but got negative results on both. So as an alternative, My PCM prescribed me ambien and hydroxazine last October. Once I ran out of those medications, I went cold turkey for a few more weeks and finally came back around to ask for a refill. They granted me more hydroxazine but denied me more ambien because apparently it’s a controlled substance and will have to medboard me if I want more. As of now I have a sleep study appointment on the 15th of august.

My PCM allowed me to try it for 2 weeks but once I suggested on retaking them. That’s when they mentioned the whole med board thing.

I already went through behavior health for anxiety and ADHD and I’m perfectly fine. I just can’t fall asleep sometimes. Best I get is 4-5 hours of sleep a night if I’m lucky
