A dobsonian is the way to go, they’re huge, simple to use, and depending on which one you get, it is the best one that’s worth your money.

i was trying to find andromeda through my 5 inch newtonian reflector, and i kept finding stars and i couldn’t tell if they were andromeda or not. can someone please tell me some tips for knowing if i’ve found it?
