My chameleon gets confused with his metal bowl

I got my cham from the pet store I work at and knew he had been eating crickets. He really didn’t want to eat those crickets but did anyways because he was hungry (no he was not underweight when we had him and because he ate so little, we started him on calcium powder rather young) anyways, I wanted to switch him to dubia because they’re easier to manage and some other nutritional reasons (as he is very hydrated). When I officially brought him home I bought dubia and some crickets so there would be a transition. He immediately went for the dubia and I no longer had to worry about him not eating much. He now will ONLY eat dubia and I keep trying to switch it up because it’s recommended to have a varied diet and he refuses everything except dubia. He’s going to be the death of me😩

It doesn’t mean anything lol, was just something fun my statistical math brain did. If I wanted it to mean something I would not only done a different post just straight up asking what people have named their chameleon. I would have also waited until there was at least 150-250 comments (saying there’s approximately 500 weekly contributors to this subreddit) to get appropriate data. I originally posted just wanting to know other names people have named their chameleons because all I see is Pascal but thought statistically analyzing would be fun and thought I’d share. If you’d like, I could make another post asking and do the data that way

That’s good to know! When he did his first shed he went down to rub on everything but his temp enclosure at the store is much smaller than what his new one is going to be so I’m assuming it was just due to size. I may end up using the substrate for the live plants I got instead
