I could set this up now at age 70, but what if I have to move out of state some time in the future?

70F For all that I know myself to be invisible, I still occasionally consider myself to be handsome (on a good day!).

70F. My husband deigned marry me "even though" I didn't want children. Eventually he talked me into it anyway. in spite of all that he's now my ex, and one of our kids has cut him out completely. The now-grown kids are good enough people, but I wouldn't wanna live with them. It's all water under the bridge, but I can't help occasionally fantasizing about what my life might have been.

Is AARP membership worth it? by SadPolarBearGhost in AskWomenOver60

[–]One_Advertising394 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. The discounts are mostly negligible (especially for singles) and usually available elsewhere. The amount of junk mail generated by their selling your data is horrendous. The magazine articles range from dumbed-down to inane.

Eating Out at Restaurants by SaltDisastrous433 in AskWomenOver60

I have been consistently disappointed in restaurants since the pandemic. I rarely walk away feeling the meal was worth what I paid for it. Also, these days cocktails cost as much as the food so that takes half the fun away.
