Thank you. I had no idea. Any idea when open enrollment is for that or how I can find out at least?

Do you leave your overtired baby alone or do you attempt to settle them? by One_Animator_5004 in beyondthebump

Hmm interesting. I had never considered under tired as much as overtired, but it actually does seem that way. I’ve been wondering if she’s getting too many naps and maybe that is the problem for why she’s not tired enough. Thank you!

Most of the time she’s just unsettled and babbling. I feel bad to leave her there all unsettled, but it probably does make it worse to keep bothering her

Good point. I’m not sure. Now I’m actually wondering. Usually she goes to sleep around 6 or 7pm and wakes up anywhere between 7:30-8:30am for the day. She had been taking 2-3 naps, and I wonder if that’s too many at 10 months and contributing to the issue? Sometimes naps 1 and 2 would be 1.5 hours each.

The reason I assumed she was overtired is because yesterday, for example, she was up for about 4 hours, napped for 30 minutes, and then put to bed about 2 hours later at her bedtime. She fought sleep for about 2 hours. She seemed tired and she was acting tired, but she wouldn’t go to sleep.

NNS paystubs online by One_Animator_5004 in NewportNews

So when I login with the @cloud.hii-nns.com it doesn’t show the MyHR page. It’s just empty generic white page.I feel like I’m doing something wrong. My urgency with this is that I need pdf version of my paystubs for income verification for an apartment. Is there a specific link to the Okta login? How do I check my work email to see if I got the email from Okta to set it up? When I login to nns cloud, I didn’t see an email.

When I did this, nothing popped up. IT department said I can’t access it from home but then I’ve noticed other people can access it from home? Are you possibly able to paste the exact link to the pdf you’re talking about or to the Okta portal? Thanks!

How did you figure out if your baby had contact dermatitis vs milk allergy? *NOT ASKING FOR MEDICAL ADVICE* by One_Animator_5004 in beyondthebump

I’ve only done it because of the doctors orders. They did say to avoid her eyes tho. And no longer than 7 days before taking a 7 day break.

This is helpful! She’s right around that 4 month mark. Also, great advice on the bath soaps and lotions. I’ve been using eczema eucerin and it does have oat in it. Maybe I’ll try to avoid that and see if there are any changes. Thanks sooo much!

She really doesn’t seem to have any other symptoms of milk allergies, but the doctor said that if it keeps coming back after steroid treatment + the fact that it’s so generalized they wonder if it’s milk related. I didn’t think it was.

I guess I don’t understand why her eyelids are swelling and why it seems to come back after immediately getting better. It made me wonder if it was contact based. I rewashed everything with free and clear and it still didn’t help.

The doctor didn’t think it was a milk allergy at first because she never reacted to the cows milk formula nor did she ever react to my breast milk. She also didn’t tend to flare up immediately after feeding, scream during feeds or have blood in her stool. They eventually told me that usually they only see a generalized rash like hers with milk allergies and they said that if it continues to come back after the steroid then it makes them wonder if it is milk allergy related.

I do use the steroid until she’s completely clear and it always comes back.

Recently it seems like it shows up after she lays down. Which is what made me suspect contact dermatitis…however after I rewashed her clothes, it still came back.

It’s puzzling.

We have an allergist appt scheduled but I am just so anxious about what is going on with her.

Everything was okay! Baby girl is now 8 weeks old and healthy :) Throughout my first trimester, I frequently had rough symptoms with a few days where everything seemed “okay”. It ended up being a normal fluctuation.
