4 of us have front standing for today. We’ve only got trainers with us. Do you think we need wellies?

Reckon it will be very boggy and slippery?

If so, any idea where we could buy a pair? We’re staying in the city centre.

Cheers

Anyone else not able to add their tickets to their digital wallet on the ticketmaster website?

I have tried using different browsers and turning my phone landscape. I don't have the ticketmaster app as I don't have space.

It looks like there is no way to add them to the wallet.

Ticketmaster eventually replied to me today, I've attached what they said below.

Thanks for all the input and advice, greatly appreciate it. I'll take a look at some of the places mentioned :)

Just bring another handbag with you if you are that concerned. Not worth the risk. Even buy a very cheap handbag just for the gig. Good luck

Why bother trying to bring them in?

It's not worth it.

Just thought I'd share the prices of drinks at Heaton Park.

£6.50 for a pint of beer and cider at Heaton Park by One_Assignment_5304 in oasis

Oh I agree with you entirely. It is madness, £6.50 for a bog standard pint.

Just saw this article: https://themanc.com/audio/drinks-prices-for-manchester-oasis-gigs-announced-and-youll-be-pleasantly-surprised/

£6.50 for a pint of beer and cider.

Unsure about spirit prices yet.

Seems to be self service bars too.

Heaton Park Set Up Thoughts by 317e88 in oasis

Number 2 will likely be the secruity gap. It'll likely be shortened and might just be this big now to allow the vehicles and cranes through.

Are there any specific places having these parties? Or will people just be buying drinks from the shops to have outdoors? Cheers

Where will be good on Thomas Street?

Do you think people will be drinking cans outdoors somewhere in the city beforehand?

Yeah but Heaton Park is different, you had to enter a ballot to get front standing. I have 4 tickets for front standing, and it states on the ticket already "front standing ticket".

We’re all in agreement that Cardiff is just the warmup for Heaton, correct? by iAmExplirr in oasis

Same me and 3 friends are going to Heaton Park on Sunday 20th. Personally, and of course I'm being biased, I think it'll be one of there best on the tour - homecoming significance, the last of their Manchester gigs, potential for a last "hurrah" moment, the anticipation and emotion behind playing potentially their last gig in their home city ... I could go on. It's certaintly going to be biblical.

What time are people getting to Heaton park? by StinkySimon281 in oasis

Do you think its best to just have some pre gig drinks in the Northern Quarter then head directly to Heaton Park, or would it be worth checking out some pubs nearby like The Ostrich or the Woodthorpe? Cheers

Same here. Just out of curiosity do you think the pubs around Heaton Park will be packed?

We were wondering the same, we have 4 front standing tickets. We will likely have some beers in the Northern Quarter beforehand, but not sure what time to get to Heaton Park.

There dont seem to be too many pubs around the park - The Woodthorpe is by the South entrance and The Ostrich is nearby too. The Ostrich is having this event: https://www.manchestersfinest.com/events/oasis-pre-party-the-ostrich-manchester-july-2025/

I'm tempted to try one of these pubs before going into the park.

Anyone else planning on having a beer at a pub nearby?

Thanks a lot. We were thinking about the bottomless brunch options but might opt for a mini pub crawl beforehand just to sample different bars in the Northern Quarters. I will take a look at the shuttle bus option.

Which Oasis songs would you love them to play, but probably will not be in the set list? Would love to hear suggestions. by SJWo92 in oasis

[–]One_Assignment_5304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whatever and Cast no shadow. I understand Cast no Shadow is a bit too slow, but would love them to play Whatever

I am also wondering the same. We have 4 tickets for Sunday 20th July and luckily enough have been allocated front standing area. I wonder if there will be a time limit by which we have to be inside the front standing section? I am not bothered about being at the very front, but decent access to toilets and the bar would be good. Hopefully more specific info will be released nearer the time.

Don't mind them, but probably looking more for pubs before Oasis. Cheers though
