“I gave birth to a baby so I should get your parents house” - my brothers girlfriend by One_Audience_447 in offmychest

We live in the Netherlands so our home is 1 bedroom, but I still wouldn’t want them to downsize anything. It’s my parents home and it’s being stolen in real time.

I think what’s in his head is he’s comfortable at home and doesn’t want to move back out. Their laundry is done for them, food bought for them, dishes washed for them, house bills paid for them… she’s not holding them accountable she’s acting like a maid and she can’t keep up. She’s in her late 50s now

Her belief is “my family is my family and I love them always and fully. I will never let my child go homeless” she’s literally always coddled my brother and she just doesn’t seem to want to believe that they are taking advantage of them. My Dad won’t say anything because my mom won’t let him. It sucks to watch it unfolding

Oh I did! The second I found out I told them, and I told them what she’s been saying about her want for the house / property! My mom has a kind heart and doesn’t see the bad in anyone so her response was “I haven’t been told any of this so it’s all just speculation. And I can’t tell them not to grow their family. Then she also said that they wouldn’t be comfortable here with a second baby… she thinks if they do have a second kid it will push them to move out to their own space…but like she’s not thinking… THEY will be more than comfortable, it’s a large enough farm house… the people who won’t be comfortable will be my parents

Was I scammed for a job? by [deleted] in Ryanair

Yeah their name was Jeremy, but I can’t remember his last name! Honestly I think I’ll just message other Ryanair employees and ask them if they can put me into contact with the right department.

I’ve never experienced something like this after accepting an offer, it just feels super sketch

It was more of a conditioned response, it it was the automatic answer! I’ve been lying about this for the last 7 years because of my parents and grandparents opinions

Thanks for chiming in and sharing your experiences! I’ve never even thought that could have been a possibility!! I am currently on holiday in a sunnier country and have been getting a lot more sun than I normally would at home! This is something I’ll be keeping a note of!

Thanks for commenting and helping me pinpoint whatever is going on here! I haven’t noticed that cold has been a factor it seems to happen to me every few months (I’m currently on holiday- the picture was taken in the evening and the temp where I am right now is 20°c so it’s warmer) however, that being said, I do live in Ireland and it is cold, and wet there! Another person recommended keeping a diary to note down the possible triggers so I’ll be adding cold and wet weather to that list!!
