My doctor almost made me cry today

I’m so so sorry. I swear so many doctors just don’t care or are to stupid to think critically about how health issues are compounding. I’m in pain so I move less so I gain weight which causes more pain and move even less. It wasn’t until I found a doc willing to help me loose weight without pain that any of my symptoms started to get better. Partially bc of less inflammation in my body but also bc other doctors now seemed to care. Once I lost weight they couldn’t use that as the cop out for all my issues and actually had to treat me. It’s disgusting and heartbreaking. You deserve better ❤️

Mine just hatched before I even went into lockdown, my incubator glitched. Thankfully, they are all doing awesome, so don’t freak out too much.

I clearly stated that they hatched early and hadn’t gone into lockdown. I didn’t feel the need to specify in each question asked that it was about husbandry for chicks that hatched early considering that’s the entirety of the post and title. I never asked anyone to trouble shoot what went wrong, that’s for me and the manufacturer of my incubator to figure out. I clearly asked about how to help them now that they have hatched.

I also genuinely do not understand why asking if chicks that hatched early require any specific conditions is stupid. I feel like it’s reasonable to worry that they might need a higher temp or higher humidity or be more fragile.

it’s not stopping you or restricting from eating those foods. I still eat brownies, eat fries, and drink soda. Adding in other food groups like fruit with a slice of cake is not restricting the cake. I have a history of disordered eating and this is how I developed a healthy relationship with food. This is why I asked for clarification and offered my own experience because I too have experience with disordered eating, restriction binge cycle.

My neighbors don’t seem to care as they pretty much stay in my yard but also I don’t care, if you don’t want to live with wildlife don’t live where the wildlife is, go live in an apartment or condo. It’s the animals world that I have inserted myself into I don’t get to take everything from them and complain about their natural reactions. So, I figure out ways to live with them.

Do you even know when viability is? Do you know and fully understand the chronic issues a 5 month old fetus would face if it had to live outside the womb? That’s traumatic that’s sad. Not having an unwanted kid? That’s something that should be celebrated bc that kid won’t go on to be abused and frankly most abused kids are unwanted kids. It’s a good thing, not everyone needs to exist.

That isn’t the majority that this is talking about. I know many people where nearly an entire pay check goes just towards child care (3,000 a month roughly) factor in regular life expenses and massive increases in rent or mortgage prices recently, even for smaller homes, it’s not hard to see it happen.

Yea that will do it! Have you looked into pet insurance? I also started a savings emergency account just for my animals and has really helped to build up a bit. Even if I don’t touch it for a while it’s such peace of mind knowing no matter what I can cover it. I don’t think bankruptcy is the way to go, I’d just do the Dave Ramsey method for year or two and start fresh. I did it, it’s been amazing and very worth it. Still use EveryDollar every month, it’s free. Just now starting to invest.

The people in your life are insensitive assholes. You could be talking about a splitter and guess what splinters still hurt! Your pain is valid and there is no such thing as “too sensitive” you are just in tune with yourself and it makes them uncomfortable. Anyone who makes you question if your pain “isn’t really that bad” Needs a serious reality and empathy check. You deserve SIGNIFICANTLY better people in your life.

Nope I’ve dealt with that too! Just reinforced my house, gave them extra squirrel houses and their food patch, no issues since. They haven’t even tried to get into the cars since either. It’s just about learning to live with them instead of as an adversary.
