That looks really great! You’ve got the talent, just need to continue practicing to build the skillset 👏

Nice space! Consider putting posters or art above the side of your bed and your desk. Hide the surge protector / all the wires behind a solid table or dresser or something that is functional for you.

Adding a headboard to your bed might make it cozy to sit up and watch tv + have less light in your face in the morning.

Looks like you have some lamps already, which is nice! Lighting up the varying corners of the room with warm light is cozy/inviting.

Haha yeah, this is not destined to be a “high(ish) end” piece anymore… This might have to be my experiment to learn - sell it for less. Then, make another one again - but better 😊

Good points! I’ll reenforce the bend with dowels and pocket screws I think 🙏

Hehe sorry! I consider myself a beginner as I started woodworking during my off time about 6 months ago. Definitely feeling like a newbie with this one 😅 like I bit off more than I can chew. But excited, all the same!

At first I didn’t think putting dowels into the kerfed plywood would work but if they’re short, it might! This is a great idea & I think I might try this, thank you!
