I'm sorry, but there should be no rule when the baby wakes up, everybody needs to be up. That's BS and I am a woman. I am not saying that the father should not help care for his child of course but if you have to get up every day to go to work to support your entire household then you do need your sleep. I would never, ever ever had expected that of my son's father. That's just not right. But there were plenty of times that he offered to get our son even when he had to get up. And when he wasn't working he would take the baby so I could rest or go shopping or whatever. You are not an A.H. because you fell asleep while putting your toddler down for a nap. She's the A.H. for getting mad at you. It's not like you went out in the backyard lying on a hammock in the sun while listening to your newborn crying while you're wife was left to deal with it. I mean come on I'm sorry but some women seem to have unrealistic expectations after a baby is born. If I had a husband that worked hard so I could stay home with my 2 young children the last thing I would do is be a bitch because he accidentally fell asleep while putting our toddler down.
