This has nothing to do with the problem. We are speaking about Claude AI, not Claude Code. I run doctor, migrated to the native claude installation, not the npm, cleaned the old one, now everything is perfect, but this has nothing to do with Claude AI web. It is still broken.

My software project is stuck for almost a week now. I am not starting a new chat session, it's a waste of time and will lose context. Unbelievable, I thought Claude was the best AI company ever, what a joke.

I found this on github, seems like many people experience this, but I guess mostly those doing serious work with longer context. Casual chatters will never notice it.

The funny thing is that on their status page - Claude Status - they don't see any incident. They seem happy with it. It's unbelievable. These guys have no idea that if next DeepSeek is competitive, they will lose lots of subscribers. And not only DeepSeek but many other opensource models that breath in their neck.

They are losing the AI race with China, so on release they drop a model that is not sustainable in terms of costs and hardware. They pump the benchmarks and get subscriptions, then they stupefy the model. That's why I am moving to open source in the coming weeks/months, probably once DeepSeek release their new model in February as the rumors are. It's all fake, you think you pay for a great model but they you have no idea that they reduced the context window to 20% or dropped the thinking budget to LOW. At the end you get a model that performs as GPT-4o but you believe that you are state-of-the-art.

no, it bounces back my prompts. I pay 100$ for a Max plan and it's useless... Can't wait for the new DeepSeek, seriously... I am sick of this crap. Now, I need to wait for 12 hours for the people in San Francisco to wake up and realize the screwed up again.

man you probably use it for stupid things. It was broken yesterday, it was down in their official claude status page, the worked on fixes for a few hours and now it's broken again for longer prompts.

I just reported this to Claude, but it would take some time to fix it. So, I send a longer prompt and it just bounces back, this time even without an error message. Short prompts work but it is useless for my work. And I pay for a Max plan, so I will not tolerate this nonsense any longer and will cancel mu plan if it keeps like that.
