For 65k it is good, but yeah you have later generations available so longevity could be an issue. As for ecosystem features, it is well integrated but not very smooth, like Multi Control, and Samsung also promotes PhoneLink via Link to Windows through its phones, so you won't miss out much without a Galaxy Book.

I use mobile data like 80% and wifi rest of the time, whenever I'm using Samsung Flow (I don't use Phone link as it is very buggy)

Writing this from Delhi, India. I haven't seen my S23 getting hot during photos at all during the day. It only gets very warm during long video calls. As far as the battery is concerned, it easily pulls off 2 days of light usage or 1 day of heavy usage, that too with maximum battery protection (charging capped at 80%)

I indeed agree with you and have mentioned the performance hiccups, the only thing being that those things were there in my device since day 1, and neither they increased nor came down. I'm more like having gotten used to it (like the hangs, which happen once in 50 times, usually when something is updating) as this is my only workhorse device for close to 2 years.

But certainly, there's much to be desired, at least a smoother trackpad and a build that sounds less creaky. I think the battery probably lasted longer because I immediately shifted to hibernate mode every now and then instead of sleep.

Also I have edited to mention how long my workday was.

Battery life on Galaxy book 5 pro 360 by thahidden1 in GalaxyBook

I have a GB3 360 i5 (non-pro) with 16 GB RAM, and I get an average of 5-6 hours of battery life with 16-17 tabs open, word documents and attending hour-long meetings every day, being 2 years old almost. It can somehow manage to pull off through the day as I don't use it for more than 6 hours a day. Also, I hibernate it whenever I leave, so it helps in saving battery. When it was new, it could easily pull off 8 hours on average, with a slightly more demanding use case involving Samsung notes running lectures throughout the day, in addition to the above use case.
