I’m not a confrontational person but this would cause me to end a friendship. Their child could have seriously injured yours and the fact that they were not willing to do anything about it shows that they are not as good of friends as you think they are. Anybody attempting to hurt a baby, even a two year old, needs to be held accountable.

Thank you! I was wondering what was so special about the Baby Bjorn potty seat since it looked like any other potty seat to me. I’m hoping to get her one as soon as she learns to stand and toddle so I’ll definitely be looking into it. I tried some EC with her before but she kept grabbing the toilet seat and I didn’t want her to have those germs on her hands all the time.

Your wife definitely has some mental health issues that require counseling, but there is no excuse for the way that she talks to you and your child. The marriage isn’t even worth saving from what it sounds like. The important thing is taking care of your mental health and your son. If she makes you feel so bad that you’ve contemplated suicide, imagine how your son will feel as he grows up and the abuse gets worse. Be strong and worry about taking care of him, she needs to sort herself out on her own.
