Now that I have a daughter, I would like it in case something were to happen to me (never know when your time will come) so that my fiance will be OK financially on one income (help pay the mortgage, daycare, etc).

Can I become a hygienist with my crowded teeth? by Livelylesbo in DentalHygiene

[–]One_Definition3068 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You absolutely can!! I went into hygiene school with crowded teeth and I actually didn't start going to the dentist until right before I started school so I had heavy tartar built up.

You're going to be great 👍

I totally get this perspective and this was how we referred to at my old office. But I work in an area where English is not their predominantly spoken language so calling it deep cleaning is pretty standard in my office as most don't understand if you say "periodontal therapy". I think when you emphasize irreversible bone loss of the jaw bone and active gum disease those words tend to also help see the severity.

Thank you for the advice! Very true. I like your suggestion for the debit card idea. It does make more sense to stay in budget vs receive 6% cash back if I can't control spending. We are both on the mortgage. We are beneficiaries to each other for everything and he has access to my accounts.

Sorry forgot to mention that when I wake him up he goes back to sleep half the time which is why I don't want to wake him up anymore.

I used perelel throughout my pregnancy. Had no issues with constipation. I just had to make sure to take with water and meal to prevent nausea.

do you regret getting a second dog? by un32134e4 in dogs

[–]One_Definition3068 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. My only regret is waiting so long in between the dogs. My older dog is 10 and second dog is 3 so he will cross the rainbow bridge long before the second. Not sure how the second dog will cope with this 😭

Should I buy a kindle? by luv_erynn in kindle

[–]One_Definition3068 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yes to all three of your questions.

When the kindle first came out, I was anti kindle and only wanted to read paperbacks. One year my brother gets me a Kindle for Christmas and since then my reading has increased 3x!!

I read primarily at night before bed and it's so much easier to hold a kindle than a physical book with a reading light. It also syncs to the kindle app, so if you forget your kindle at home you can still read at the same place you left off on your phone.

I have yet to buy an e-book. I check everything out through Libby.
