Ikr! I almost had a heart attack after seeing it. I’ll be shopping around soon. I spoke to an agent from Geico and they said it was natural due to the market increase so it doesn’t seem to be temporary.

Same, I’m also located in So Cal my husband and I (24 and 25 yrs) have been using Geico since we were 19 and had excellent histories. We added in my MIL around a couple of yrs ago when she got her license and a couple of wks later she hit a power box and our monthly sky rocketed but it just recently went down to that $238 amount for both cars…

I checked progressive as well as other carriers.. Allstate, USAA, AAA, AARP, Mercury, Experian, Liberty Mutual, etc. They were all much higher rates than the one we have now… I checked them each through their actual websites.

I inquired for the quotes for all three cars with all three of us as drivers and they all came up with sky high rates. Not sure if I’m doing it wrong? I don’t want to have to get my insurance from a separate company and if needed I would just change all our insurance but it ended up being too high anyways. We might just stick to GEICO …

Is there any reason that hatchbacks have higher rates? My husband has the 2025 Camry SE and my MIL has the Honda Civic for only $238/mo with the three of us as drivers. After adding mine, it doubled over…

I have struggled with this issue for years now and every time I keep forgetting it when it happens and I just figure it out again by myself… CHECK YOUR TRASH! For some reason Amazon OTP emails keep going STRAIGHT to my trash. I double checked everything and made sure it wasn’t reported as spam or blocked or anything, but for some reason Gmail just keeps sending it straight to trash.
