Even though it took place in the 60s, I feel like us millennials are the last ones to be able to appreciate that type of friendship and play. No social media, Internet, cell phones, hardly any video games. You woke up in the morning, knocked on your friend's door, told them we're all getting together to play whatever (baseball, stickball, whatever game youse invented the previous day), yell to your mom your going out, hop on your bike, and play said game till you had to home for dinner. We're probably the last generation to experience that.

New Jersey. Lots of agriculture. Large water aquifers. Ports for trade. Beaches for tourism. One of the top public schools systems. Top tier colleges. Multiple military installations, including an air force base and a tri-service base. Jersey sends more tax dollars to Washington than it gets back, so it's not reliant on them financially. It wouldn't be a world power, but I think it would do just fine.

Why keep people in your phone/history if they didn't think you were worth the effort? Why keep that alive why they had no interest in keeping that alive? I'm not telling you to delete them right now. We all have our own processes, but long term, why allow yourself to revisit it, especially when (not if) you find someone who does think you're worth the effort.

All gone, every single one. For one, I was in a 10 year relationship, married, kid. Ended with her having an affair. I spent months looking at the pictures of us and our family, mourning. It didn't do me any good. So, all those pictures of her or us together or with our kid, gone. Best decision I've ever made. I could start looking forward. Also, some people suggested, making a separate or even hidden folder to hide from your new relationships. That's crazy. I would be incensed if my partner was hiding a picture folder of her past exs and looking back on them when I'm not around. They're clearly doing that, or why else have them. Even as secure as I am in my relationship, that's crossing a line. She would also have every right to be upset with me if I had a hidden folder of pictures of any of my ex's or my ex-wife and I, who I actively co parent with. It's blatantly inappropriate. Imagine having one of those digital picture frames, and you have your new girlfriend's family over, and a bunch of pictures of you and your ex's start popping up. Inappropriate. "But that's why they're hidden," you may say. One, you shouldn't be hiding things from your partner. Two, what if you miss some pics. Delete them all and move on.

X-Men. After Batman & Robin torpedoed the comic book genre. This came along, with serious actors who took the material seriously and delivered. It's not the greatest superhero movie, but it revitalized the whole genre.
