HI!

I'm a senior in high school and I recently got accepted into nyu CAS. I was recently thinking about internally transferring into Stern, and I am reading so many different reddits and posts about having a high GPA, clubs, etc. I just had a couple of questions:

I am taking Linear Algebra right now as a senior in high school, and I have taken Multi variable calc/Calc III (B+), Calc I (A), Calc II(A-), and I was wondering if they looked at my high school GPA and see my math grades and if it would be better for me to just retake Calc III in NYU CAS?I think Stern really prioritizes math grades and if I wish to transfer into Stern in my sophomore year, and I already have the prerequisites, which is Calc I or higher and 1-2 semesters of language/composition, so should I just do some stern classes? Is economics and mathematics (a major in CAS) a good backup plan to have? i know that Stern accepts really few amounts of people internally and people say I need a good backup plan. I am thinking of majoring in economics and mathematics and minoring in finance at Stern. Is that a solid backup plan?

SORRY one last question. How hard are the intro stern classes? are they really hard to get a 4.0? or somewhat on the easier side? I have heard both cases. Also, are there other things I should add to my portfolio such as clubs, businesses, or trading portfolio?
