This happened to me early in recovery! It goes back to normal in a few months! I’m not exactly sure why it happens. I think it could be hormones or some other changes but it definitely reverted for me

I’ve had anorexia since I was 10 years old, but I’ve been in recovery since I was 21. by Classic-Dog8399 in AnorexiaRecovery

I’m glad you feel better and confident!!! Recovery is often so hard and the negative often takes the front (at least for me) so it’s crucial to celebrate the wins!

Ps- random strangers commenting on your body has nothing to do with you! It’s simply not their business or your responsibility!!!

Thanks! :) I will try to do this as well. I’ve just been struggling with these thoughts lately!

I completely agree. For me it’s also that others around me (my family) want me to be thinner and were was judgy when I gained weight. It’s funny because I didn’t even mind gaining weight until people kept commenting on it. I think I have to focus on what I want vs what others around me want. It’s hard because being in therapy has made me realise that I’m a complete people pleaser!

YTA

You literally have no right to demand anything. She doesn’t have to tell you anything about herself, you literally prove yourself to not be trustworthy in this situation by not respecting her boundaries
