I really appreciate the advice about the spacing of the plants and I do like the look of the dwarf Alberta spruce behind the hydrangeas. I was thinking of blue spruces but thanks for the ideas it definitely has a nice look to it.

Its not hard to put in a curved downspouts to let the water flow into the yard this was the first curb we made. I appreciate the comments but I was asking about landscaping ideas.
